    Welp, Ebil is coming in on Wed so as to be there all day Thursday....she's gonna go out to dinner with my wife and I before I make her load the trailer....

     

    I just heard from someone else who is possibly coming Wed as well....

     

    I'm going either way... Maybe I'll bring my season of The O.C.

     

    since i am local and i am taking thursday and friday off of work.. I am avail for wed pre pre party

    Wanted to give my 2cents worth. Last Year was my first FragFrest, and I too have only experienced lan parties with people up to 20.

     

    My first Experience, I didn't know what to expect. Will people like me, fellow gamers, or would they just stick with people they know. I happen to meet a lot of great people and they made me feel welcomed. It's like a big family.

     

    It was a lot of fun, people of all ages playing Counter Strick Source, Congradulating on a Nice Headshot from a AWP... or calling you a Hacker.. all in good fun.. Just amazing. ( even tho I am a local gamer )

     

    I give a big salute to everyone that makes this happen, Fatty, Mini, Duke and the many others.

     

    And I am very glad everything is working out great with escape. When Dorfman told me about the Lan center opening and things.... First thing I told him was about Frag Fest and how cool it would be to a Sponser... getting the local gaming community involved...

     

     

    Allanon754=US= : It's up to you, It's very laid back. Great group of people. Just an awesome experience.

    Well dip me in poo, I read a long time ago about the memory controller not allowing dual channel, so I have been running single this whole time!! :bang:

     

     

    At first they didn't. The nforce boards weren't equiped with dual channel, also AMD wasn't supporting Dual Channel for their cpus right away.. I think it has been about a year now since nforce boards can run Dual Channel

    Yeah.. It was good to see ya too. I think we should get a few of the local fraggsters together and hang out....

     

    I mentioned Tequila Panchos to a few for someones b-day and they all said it was a great idea. =) It was nice.

    The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

    Tournaments: CS:S maybe have 2v2 or 3v3 pistols .. The random drawling for cash tourny 5v5 is a great Idea.

    Running more servers so more matches can go on, again Great Idea.

    IF some how on friday teams are picked for the tourny and know what maps are to be played, so we can get strats down and have scrims.

     

    BF2 tourny would be great as well. If there is enough drive for the game to have a tourny. I just need to learn that game.

     

    Just my thoughts?

    Any thoughts on that?

    Home from FF

    Made it home it a little after noon yesterday... Crashed for another 6 hrs, LoL..

    Wanted to say thanks for every1 that made this possible. This was my First offical Lan Party and I had a blast. I got to meet a lot of new exciting people. Formed new friendships .

     

    Can't wait till Next years FF.

     

    Note to SiX:

     

    I will be playing CS:S a lot more.. and not so much of WoW.....

     

    Till then, I will C-ya on GC's Servers

    Not too off topic from here.. but from reading the post about access to the net...

    I just want to confirm... The ballroom 'will' or 'will not' have access to the internet.... only the rooms? I have onboard lan on my mobo and I do have a wireless NIC also installed. So if the hotel has wi-fi access, will I get access in the ballroom.. or do I have to wait and see when I get there, it's not really a big deal... just wondering.

    Its in Sandusky, OH.. it's about 1.5 to 2 hrs from Hudson area . Depending on Traffic and construction.

     

    Honestly with Cedar Point, don't get me wrong... I love the place, but going there defeats the purpose of going to, having the lan.

     

    CedarPoint is a trip in itself. Basically a 2 day trip to really experience it.

     

     

    Since the core of the lan is Saturday.

     

    Just my thoughts

    Alchohol Consumption, Wristbands, etc.

    Haha... this forum is great.. I haven't laughed so hard in my life.. all kidding aside.

     

    I think the wristband idea is great.. Yes under agers shouldn't be drinkin in the first place, but like it was stated before. Good way to identify who should and shouldn't be in the ballroom..
