  1. they have something like that.... what they will do is .... They will stamp your hand with UV ink with something like 5-7 for a particular ride. - but that is giving out at anytime (not sure when) during the day before that. You come between that time and you have that on your hand. the will run a UV light over it.. and you will cut like 50-75% of the wait that's all I know.
  2. Shadowdog, It's worth it if you don't want to lug it to hudson, break it all down and setting it up at the lan, breaking it down again and setting it back up at home. They are great systems, they get the job done. Yes, they aren't top of the line gfx cards/cpu but they get the job done. And it's espessically worth it if you are coming from a distance - I.E plane ride - i personally wouldn't want to trust taking my rig on a plane and such. I guess it's just a personal preference. But I will be bringing my own rig, I like playing on a system that I am comfortable with - settings, programs, etc...(plus i built it, like showing off my work) but you are allowed to bring your own custom configs for CS:S on a disk-cd-flash drive your own mouse/keyboard/headset.
  3. "In February 2006, Broussard gave an interview and updated the status on Forever. He reported that everything was together and in full production, and that the guns, creatures, and everything else had been finished. Broussard said that the development team was tweaking and polishing the game and putting it all together.[20] In April, Broussard demonstrated samples of the game, including an early level, a vehicle sequence, and a few test rooms.[21] In June, in a filing with the SEC, Take-Two revealed that they had renegotiated the deal and will receive $4.25 million instead of $6 million upon the release of the game.[22] The filing also revealed that Take-Two was offering a $US 500,000 bonus if Forever was commercially released by December 31, 2006.[23] However, Broussard denied the rumors that DNF would be released, saying that 3D Realms never cared for or asked for the bonus. He stated that he would "never ship a game early...for 500K."[24] On August 30, 2006, Shacknews reported that several key employees had left 3D Realms.[25] They speculated that the departures would lead to further delays for Forever. However, 3D Realms strongly denied these claims, stating that the employees had left over a number of months and that the game was still moving ahead.[26] On January 25, 2007, 3D Realms posted a Gamasutra job ad with a small (200x125 pixel) screenshot of Duke Nukem holding two guns. After intense speculation, Broussard later confirmed that it was a real in-game screenshot.[27] " There is your answer about Duke Nukem Forever.

  10. Duke... I was talking on the phone with Todd miday yesterday, asking if he will be there. I gave out the date that is posted on this thread and he said, he thought he heard Richard say that it was moved. I do apologize for the confusion. I asked Todd to confirm with Richard. Just some mis-communication. EDIT* yes it was a communication error. Todd thought I was talking about their regular monthly LAN at the store when I talked to him. I just cleared it up. Their Monthly LAN was moved not the fragfest private LAN. Sorry about the confusion.
  11. yeah. good =) I am glad. personally for me... friday or saturday works. I don't have a life... haha but i do understand for others. work/school/family events or whatever else.. So it will be nice to game again with people from fragfest and possibly meet new folks.

  17. Was that Stroppy's bottle or was that Soap's bottle? It was mine! (well we shared it) LoL I can't believe that bottle lasted from Thursday night, unless you guys got another one... If I had it my way it would have been sit down and take shots... I killed a bottle like that within 20 mins. it was about 5 shots person..between 4 people. my co workers and I 1 night decided to see how many shots where in a bottle lol... but non the less.. great times.. dirty, Anon, Shrope, Ebil, girlgamer, zester and the crazy antics from Soap ( lol ) -Rez

  19. I made it home around 11:30 am. I had a great time. I want to say thank you to the staff for everything they have done to put on another successfull FragFest. This was my second year and it was better than the last. 20. I would suggest taking 71 north to 271 north to RT8. You are only mins away from the hotel once you get onto RT 8 taking 70 east to 77n to RT 8 n. I am not sure if that is a longer way to go.... just my thoughts **edit** It just depends on what time of day are you going through downtown columbus 71. I haven't had an issue only during rush hour. taking the by pass might be less traffic, given if there isn't any construction going on and time of day as well, however, taking 270 might be a little longer to get to 71. Might add about an extra 15-20 mins onto the trip.
  21. Fatty, I do need directions to your place. Also, due to a new software package we are implementing at work for day to day operations, I cannot take thursday and friday off of work. I already had it off, but since my boss wants to go live with the software this week... lol I have to be here for training and installation... he has asked me to reschedule my time off. However, I can be here for the Wed pre pre party, the thursday pre-party. I won't be able to make it to the lan till friday evening, after work. *edit* It will be a little after 5 pm before I get there. -Rez
