  1. Gorne, your only problem is that 20 other people saw it too!

You don't think I'm gonna start looking up in cbble especially when I play against you or Demoner?

So.. what you're saying is I can still use it? =p

Yeah, then m2 has to go and put up a ss of it as well :bang:

And 20 is a small number compared to how many gc members and regs we have. :halo:

Plus there's always the random nubs that happen to walk my way.

  2. As a mustang owner, I shall try to give you my most unbiased opinion. ;)

I took delivery of a brand new '06 Mustang GT, got it with .5 miles on the odo B) so no other previous owners fudgin her up.

I took her home around the end of February, and now she has about 11,500 on the odo. I drive mostly to school/work/church and that's a mixture of highway and local. And a road trip to Atlanta. :D I drove there straight, all 14 hours, only stopping for gas and food. Nothing was out of line and everything was just perfect. Got around 24mpg cruising at around 80-85mph.

The stang I can honestly say is alot different from the other cars on your list. The stang is more muscle car, while the others are comfortable cruisers. It all depends on I think what you want. *Side note: If you're looking for the fastest out of them, the stang wins ;) I have raced all the above expect for the A3 on multiple occasions and won w/o any problem.

So far I have not had any problems with her so far. She's a pleasure to drive anytime and honestly, you get alot of compliments/looks when you're cruising around. Now, no car is perfect and there are a few small minor problems.

    1. Under hard braking, she kinda leans to the left (or is it right? I forget at the moment). At first I thought i was just on a bad groove in the road, but I've talked to other owners and they have it as well. It's not horrible, but its there fyi.

    2. The gas tank is horrid. At some pumps, the gas will come out too quick and if you're not careful, it will spill out everywhere, even if the tank's not full. Apparently, there was a recall for this and it should have been fixed for the late '06 and the '07 models. Mine is perfectly fine now too.

    3. This seems to be an isolated experience, but at one point, all the electronics went haywire. The doors would lock/unlock themselves at random points, all my warning lights came on and off and so forth. It lasted for about a day like this. The next day on my way to the dealer, it stopped and never came back. Oh well.

    4. This really isn't a problem, but alot of people complain about the throttle lag caused by the drive by wire system. You don't really notice it too much, unless you punch it from a roll. There is a custom tune for it that will fix it of course.

Other problems I have yet to encounter or just forgot at the moment but honestly, it's still a brand new car and this being my first ford, I can't comment on its long term reliability. I mean so far so good though, and I'm sure that Ford won't take any chances with the only car that they seem to be selling at the moment.

Anyways, I'm at work so that's all I can come up with at the moment. If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to PM me.

  3. A mom walks into her son's room and finds 15 S&M magazines underneath his mattress. Totally appalled, she goes to her husband and tells him what she found. "What should we do about this?" the mom asked.

"I don't know," said the dad, "but for god sake don't spank him."

  4. Well then. Let me be the first to say welcome! (back?)

Anyways, I only have one request. It's that you keep sgt slaughter as far away from me as possible. His hax are burning a hole deep within my ego. :(

  5. Shazzz, does your car manual recommend premium fuel? If so, continue to get premium. Anything less will result in engine knock and slowly build up deposits in your engine, significantly lowering the life of your car. Also, you will notice performance decreases with lower octane fuels.

However, if your car manual specifies 87 or doesn't specify, then buying anything more than 87 grade is a waste. Your car doesn't go "oooh! You bought me the good stuff. Thanks!" :)

Nailed it on the head. If your owner manual says premium fuel, go with premium. Unless you have made modifications to your engine, run whatever the manual recommends. Otherwise your just asking for trouble. Or just wasting money.

  6. Seeing it tomorrow night. I was going to see Ong Bak, I just forgot to.

Gotta love me some o' dat action.

That Jet Li movie also looks good, but it makes me mad its his last one!

Actually, I already saw Fearless. It's actually one of his older movies, that finally made its way stateside.

If you look around hard enough, you can find a lot his other movies that haven't seen the light of day here.

Just need to be lucky enough to find with subtitles :spin2:

  7. Anyone else really excited for this movie?

It's starring Tony Jaa, from the movie Ong Bak. If you've never seen it, I highly recommend you go rent it now!

It's reminscent of Jackie Chan's older movies, having lots of stunts and whatnot, but Tony is alot more acrobatic, and has a different fighting style (Muy Thai).

Don't expect much of a story though, but then again, would you really want something like a plot getting in the way of the action scenes? :biglaugha:

Anyways, going to go watch it Friday night.

    Anyone else?

  8. Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, "You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the

driveway. I shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!"

His buddy looks at him and says, "Well, you're obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife's butt and say, 'Lets do it!' And, she's always sound asleep."

Lmao, I was thinking of posting this exact joke.

Grr.. GET OUT OF MY HEAD JACKIE

  9. Yes, the joke forum needs more publicity!

Help out and read a joke today. :D

You're supposed to be keeping it up with the Joke of the Day.

I would be more motivated to do so if more people would actually look at the joke section. :erm:
