Well, it's pretty much done now, if you guys can accept the couple minor errors.
-
goodness a 2 day compile time? NOTHING should take 2 days to compile. Heck compile your own version of Linux and it doesnt take that long. My guess is their compiler == the suck.
That could be, in the past (for CS 1.5/1.6) i've used third-party compilers that I got through the VERC and they worked great. I don't know if anyone has made any decent ones for Source, though they probably have.
It's most likely a combination of my weak comp, and the compiler.
As far as posting the .bsp, should I add it as an attachment, or mail the appropriate person(s)?
Homogenous.Thank you

I like the last pic. I hope the rest of the map is like that.
Actually, it pretty much is (as in the style) it's probably my most "consistent" map in terms of texture schemes and geometry meshing together in a nice way that makes everything seem "believable".
I am not sure if I just expressed what I wanted to say, but it sounds good.

I voted for South Cali, since I live in San Diego, and am without a car.
Still, it would be cool for future years if there was a FragFestWest.
so, I say, rock on!

Here we go, pictures of the error:
Remember, all other mapping pictures of mine are located at: http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j242/AssassinatorMapping/

Lol, I haven't seen it. It works fine. Though bots must not be programmed to use buttons, because they never use it.
I'll have some screens of the errors up in a few minutes here.
Post up a BSP or PM it to someone (I'm sure you've probably heard Ice is the man to talk to for Sat Night Customs). If it has 11 spawns per team it can probably get play.I hope you mean at least 11
Since I like to make my maps applicable for all situations (i.e. there are like 24 spawns per team).

does it have colored smoke like Ice's map?
No >_< but it does have a cool elevator.

After nearly a year's span of work (a lot of off and on) on Subdivision, i've finally been able to run the final compile.
Which was a dandy, it took quite a long time for it to fully load.
Specifically, it took: 2 days, 20 hours, 35 minutes, and 27 seconds (or, 68 hours etc)
Unfortunately...an error in the skybox geometry I thought I fixed reoccured, and it really, shall we say,
ticked me off when I saw it again. Also there is one model (in the corner of the skybox, not very obvious) that is not working. I can explain why, if you anyone wants to know. Fortunately, you won't really notice it unless you are looking for it.
Finally, there is some random missing geometry that really has no effect on the gameplay as it is not accessible in any way to the player. In fact, I have no idea why it is missing, I may have accidently deleted it.
I will have some screenshots on these minor errors tomorrow, I just wanted to know if you folks feel it's ready for custom map night, or if I should spend 5 minutes to correct these errors, and then sacrifice my computer for nearly three days to load it.

I got a couple paychecks today. Found out we get paid every Friday, as opposed to every other week.
$191 and $201, not bad...I thought I was going to get about $350 for two weeks. dunno what I did wrong.

Nice, is the legal blood/alchohol level while you drive higher over there?
-
Did you calculate in taxes?

Excellent post indeed, this makes me really want to go to Cedar Point or at least Magic Mountain.

That red type over the red background ought to slow some folks down!
Is it difficult to see? I can read it no problem.
Edit: I think I missed the sarcasm. >_<

Pretty soon you may turn those smiles upside down. Then again, if you really like money, you may not, lol.

Looks more like a gray area cheat to me tbh...
Well, it would be a cheat in reverse.
The only person who would be affected by the skins is the person who has it installed.
So it would server no advantage to a player with the skinpack, in fact it may even be a disadvantage.

I recently got a job too, (about three weeks ago). I work at a local Albertson's in the Meat Department. It's a pretty neat job, especially since most youngin's get the usual "Courtesy Clerk" job which consists of pushing carts around, bagging, sweeping and stuff like that.
Paychecks are nice definately, my first one amounted to about $385.
Didn't feel like I worked that hard for it. Sure beats allowance, hahaha.
My typical week I get two week days off, the others I work from 1600-2100, and I work generally from 1000-1900 or 1200-2100 on the weekends.

Lol, that was a great movie.
The forklift part was indeed awesome.

Though I am not a religious man, I send my thoughts and feelings for you Acid, and wish the best for your family and your sister's soul.
I know what is like somewhat, having been honored to drape the American flag over the casket of our former Air Rifle coach in ROTC. It's tough, and I wish strength for you and all.

Is there a way to debate this rule?
(Such as forum/thread for such arguments?)

Does she work? would you work if you were among the top ten richest people? I'm sure hat charity has good intentions and i've seen a lot that they have done for providing schools with IT products and training. But seriously how hard can it be to run a non-profit charity? A business genious leaving a company means one thing....he is tired of being the greatest and just wants to enjoy all that money he has made!
I would imagine it's very demanding to run a non-profity charity just like any other charity or business. You have to consider the employees that will need to be paid to work the charity, all the adminstrating and paperwork that is required to run the place. You can also imagine that with such incredibly large amounts of money involved you have to be very careful with what you are doing.
Charity is not like handing money out, you have to take care.
