no clue, i got cox cable. whatever speed that is. and i got this full load graph by transfering a file from one comp to the other over the wireless network. so i guess its my full non-internet load. i'll try to get a graph like this from CS:S if i can.

they need to make the knife run speed faster ... i spend way too much time chasing oblivious people across the map with a knife

try running it in window mode so you can get the 16:9 ratio ... then change it back to normal in teh settings? add -window at the end of the shortcut or something

um, do the maps go in the order they're posted on the map rotation thread? or did the map rotation just get changed today? the order on the cycle doesnt match up with what we've been playing today

not sure if its supposed to be part of the map cycle, but the server played cs_italy twice in 3 maps today italy, something else i forgot, italy

i moved the cmdrate up to 60, any higher and choke shoots up to the 50's everytime i take a step for some reason. i wonder why i wasnt lagging that one time on logistic assault. doesnt seem to be a bittorrent thing since the other comps havent been running bt lately. have i lagged this week? my set up is ... a shuttle 2.8 P4 w/ 9500 pro. (i got a 9800 pro sitting in teh other comp but that comp can barely run source for some odd reason ... tried switching the 9800 pro to the shuttle but i can't get enough power out of this shuttle PSU) im behind a linksys wireless router, about 4 other comps connected wirelessly to the same router. got my sysmantec software firewall which is supposed to allow all CS:S/HL2 traffic through ... sooooooo i dunno whats causing the lag :[ tried forwarding some ports from the router to this comp that i found on the steam forums but that didnt work. i'll try setting my rates higher again. i start at 30 for each and keep increasing the settings until i get choke/loss.

errr ... where are the map rotations posted? i saw it once but i cant find it again

dunno about the map cycle ... i only remember playing alive metal once, port twice and inferno once

if i could dodge bullets i wouldnt be going 1-12 on the maps and i'd rename myself Neo

no torrents and i still lag. the one day i didnt lag, meatball said i had like 20 ping (which usually never happens) someone fix my lag please?

yea, i can only kill people who are oblivious to me with their backs turned anyone facing me gets a half second advantage over me ~_~

sometimes my ping is 600+ but i can still get kills that way
