depending on her personality, that is how I would pick how to ask her...

is she a social butterfly, center of attention on a night out type thing... then ask her in that situation.

does she like vacations? ask her on a tropical vacation of some kind...

is she quiet stay at home kind... plan a romantic evening around her, and then ask her...

I'm sure there are better ideas... but that's what I have off the top of my head.

yeah, I'll get online this weekend... I won't have time till then. I am assuming SP levels easier and faster than online... that and I played non-stop all weekend with Friday off of work... so I have quite a few hours logged already.

Network... look into cisco and HP for starters. We just put in new HP core layer 7 switche, and it will do VOIP as well as power over ethernet. You will need a firewall, and probably a few servers. Think SECURITY!! it is a law firm... information is most treasured there. A lawfirm of 25 will also house an internal research staff, they will have specific database needs... SQL most likely...

VOIP is actually pretty easy at this point... Once your network hardware supports it... it is just a matter of ensureing you have the right phone equipment (read phones and voip server). You will still want standard phone lines coming into the building and split off... I would say 4 as well. 3 for regular use, and one fax.

Desktops are easy, most would be laptops I would imagine.

Server wise, I would think 3 or 4 is enough to do everything you would want including local email systems and such. Work in a budget for maintenance which wouldn't fall under the 100K that would allow them to call someone for support.

Again, do not leave out security measures...

that is a 50000 ft top down view. I would get basics down, and then step through the day of an attorney to see whatever needs they would have. Software use and such. Don't forget a voice mail system as well... often times, it is not included with regular voip phone service.

I'm just gonna buy evga's ssc 8800GT and be done... I dont' want to think about it that hard... I have an x850 right now... lol.

Yep, this is the G92 card, or the first of a bunch...

there are also some rumors of re-spec'ing other 8800 series cards under the new die.

G98 still due out November though... at least one is... not sure... it is all rumor at this point.

I haven't had the time really, so I haven't bought the game yet. probably come in November at some point.

to my knowledge the first of the 9000 series should still be out in November... or has someone seen otherwise.

I'm not going to have an SLI setup shep. Even so though, I have an addiction to buying new stuff fresh to the market...
