  1. I've been brewing beer for 6 years. I do all grain after one year of extract. All grain is a bit cheaper but more time consuming. I still haven't made the move to kegs myself. Mostly because I am waiting until I own my own house. One less big thing to move. I'd highly recommend the upgrade to grains. Check Craigslist or local ads for someone who might be selling their setup. Often there is some equipment out there people are getting rid of.

  2. I cannot wait a year or two. I will sell my gaming rig and some other stuff first.
So have you figured out what to get yet? Just another thing to note overall there isn't a lot different from an 1980s to a 2000s models on cycles other than the newer ones are electronic for gages. Just something to consider older bikes performance wise of say 500cc 1985 compared to a 2005 of the same model only has a slight increase in power not really enough to notice I think anyways. Style wise too they don't change very much either for what you are looking for. What I am saying you can save yourself some money this way by getting an older model, the downside is the longer they sit in the offseason it seems in my experience anyways on the older bikes always work to be done come time to take them out after the offseason. Though cycles are simply to work on get yourself a manual and you can probably diagnosed and fix your cycle yourself.
  3. Well, it really depends on how much multi-tasking you'll be doing. I have 8 gigs running 64-bit. I have a ton of startup programs running in the background (including a Rainmeter skin for the whole desktop) and that eats up > 40% of it. It really doesn't bog down the computer at all, but still, it would be nice to see that number go up.

Well I am not seeing anything here that is making me think I should spend another 50-60bucks to get additional ram. Other than because its cheap isn't valid. Especially considering ram is something I can always add later...

  4. On a newer system, I'd go with 16GB. I mean I went with 8GB on my system that is now like 3-4 years old. RAM is pretty dirt cheap, and if you're gonna spend so much money on all of this, what's just a few more dollars to make it that much more future proof.

But I also didn't read the less you spend the better. So, is it necessary? No I guess not. It's just a personal preference if I were building one right now.

I mean I can always add 8 more gigs later. If I spend another 50bucks on ram wouldn't that money be better off in something else?

  5. Bold choice using a 2nd CPU as your Video Card... bold enough to work?

I've got an asrock mobo as well, I like it alot. I think you'll be happy with this build.

    *EDIT*

Also, RAM is so cheap right now, maybe think of springing for 16 gigs--that is, if you're intending to run 64-bit windows, which I would reccommend.

I am intending on running 64-bit windows but is 16gigs really necessary?

  6. I'd definitely recommend a Honda Shadow, I have one it is a good starter bike. I would upgrade but simply right now trying to pay down student loans seems to be more important. Evenually though I want to get this http://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/us/en/index.html?content=http://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/us/en/bike/urban/f800r/f800r_overview.html&notrack=1 Honda shadows are quite easy to manuever and aren't too top heavy. For a 43mile commute that would be pretty solid ride as well. I just took mine 400 miles 2 weekends ago to get it from Wisconsin to Nebraska. 400 miles was a bit far on it but 100 mile trips aren't too terrible.

  7. Okay looking at replacing my 6 year old computer finally. Here is what I got, looking for any advice/suggestions or alternatives.

Ideally the less I spend the better, preferably around the $1000 total though, I know this is already over.

  8. Vegas is like another world after going there I feel. Now that's play a game what two things from The Hangover happened to the group of people I went here with?

  9. I am not a big gambler but I am planning on doing some. Probably 100/day for gambling is what I figure.
find a dollar amount that you're comfortable leaving in vegas, and then withdraw that in cash. if you lose it all and bust out early, move on and don't think back on it. if you go up, either keep playing and have fun, or walk away and go spend money at some of the other fine vegas establishments.

That's how I developed the 100/day rationial. I figure if I win that day sweet if not oh well done for the day. Try to keep my losses to a minimum hopefully.

  10. I've been there about 8 times over my life span, MGM Grand and Caesars Palace are my favorites. The Bellagio has a beastly buffet as do other hotels but I can't named them at this moment. As for spending money, it can vary just because it is Vegas. Enjoy!

Good to hear, I am staying at Ceasers Palace.

MGM Grand was nice but all the way at the end of the strip..

Cheap Breakfast there's a place called Ellis Island block away from the strip (GREAT FOOD for the price)

Spending Money is up to you.. are you a gambler?

If you like Strip Clubs - the Olympic Garden (i think?) if your average strip club is considered flag football this is at least 2 hand touch if not full contact.. and that's before paying for a dance.. lol

I am not a big gambler but I am planning on doing some. Probably 100/day for gambling is what I figure. I'll have to keep Olympic Garden in mind. The bachelor party was this past weekend in Chicago. I spent quite a bit on strippers there, I am not sure I am ready for Vegas and their strip clubs! lol

  11. I'm headed to Vegas at the end of the month for a friend's wedding. I am curious for those that have been for any advice you have to offer. Places to go/avoid, how much spending money I should bring. I'm gong to be there wed night leaving sunday. Anyways any advice would be appreciated.

  12. I should add what I am currently playing on

    Antec SmartPower 2.0 SP-500 500W ATX12V SLI Ready

    E6300 Core 2 Duo 1.86Ghz

Video Card: I am not sure I have to check once I get home

    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6

    OCZ 2x 1gig DDR2 sticks

    Windows 7 x64

Western Digital 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

I am looking for something that I can play SWTOR at max graphics and when Diablo 3 comes out to be able to play that at or near max graphics as well.
