    ive made a couple posts on here that made sense you may not agree with them but they atleast dealt with the subject.

     

    you want to set the rules of whats decent and indecent and what should or shouldnt be on the airwaves go ahead.But are you gonna bite your tongue when its someone else setting the rules wheather it be next term or whenever because your helping set that exact standard.Or are you gonna then be a 2 faced and say the government should stay out of it.

    the one who is wrong is your kid for skipping school and listening to something that i would think youve brought him up sayin and showing that crap is not welcomed and/or tolerated in your house/family.So basicly discipline/punish the kid.Looking at it as a big picture is that its part of lifes choices one has to make that kids should be able to use there families teaching and examples to help guide them.

    now will someone please think of the children?.Kids learned just as much about oral sex with our last president and the jackasses who spent millons turning it into a circus as with anyother moron thats on the air now.

     

    as for not knowing or havin time to change the channel before the f word comes across.I dont think one needs to be all that bright to figure out where and when stern is on and dont set that station on you predail.

     

    i dont know the way i see it is if you believe in this whole america, freedom thing i dont see how you can say the government should do something about this when its not being forced on you and you have the choice to partake in it and not do something about so many other things that are much worse and do far more damage.

    i think you guys are lookin at this all wrong.everyone seems to be tryin to label things as right wrong decent indecent.I think it should be looked at as what part the government plays and why.

     

    the main reason i would see the government havin any say to what is put out over the air waves is if the company gets any money to broadcast over public air waves.Do the get tax breaks or any kind of funding.If they do then i think the government should have a say if not then stay out of it.

     

    I also find it odd or somewhat 2 faced that one would feel its not the place of the government to regulate fast food places but yet can and should control whats on radio.Cant people use the same right of choice about 1 as the other.

    Each state is dif. but most of the time they will assign another court date and if you dont show for that one they will put a suspension in effect but can issue a warrant for arrest.Just call the court clerks office with the case # from the court papers and they should tell you what was done.

    Okay, let me throw you a different point of view.

     

    I've got a little bit of marriage experience, so this is all coming first hand.

     

    Free time in a marriage for the man is a battle that is lost over a long period of time.  Hopefully slowly, but in many cases, very rapidly.

     

    I've always equated giving up free time with Patton's infamous policy about retreating.  He had a firm belief that you should NEVER pay for the same ground twice.  Anything you GIVE away now you will have to work DOUBLE hard to get back free and clear.

     

    For example, you give up Thursday nights because you think you're being nice.  Well, you're NOT being nice.  I'll come back to this point.

     

    After a couple months you re-institute Thursdays out with the fellas.  Sounds fair, right?  WRONG! Possession is 9/10 of the law.  When you gave her Thursday nights you officially relinquished your ownership.  When you attempt to re-establish your time out, you are now TAKING something away from her.  That's an issue.  That's a fight.  That's drama.  You may or may not get your Thursdays back, but everybody has already lost.

     

    So, when you thought you were being nice, you were just creating a future argument.

     

    The Ranger plan says to KEEP your Thursday nights.  Even if you don't have any plans, you go SOMEWHERE.  Do SOMETHING.  Trust me, in 10 years you'll thank me.  Heck, I would even add on another night.  Say an "every other weekend" bowling league or something.

     

    That gives you the leisure to give something up in the future that you don't care much about anyway.  A perfect time for this type of "concession" is after children.  You make the appropriate sacrifice looking like the hero while, in fact, it was just a 3-5 year plot to protect your free time.

     

    You can't give up all your time before you even get started!  You give up all your leverage. 

     

    But be careful of her counter moves.  Some wives may be crafty, ANTICIPATE your actions and initiate a preemptive strike.  SHE may start ridiculous, time consuming hobbies like SCRAP BOOKING.  This type of behavior is a sure fire sign she's on to your game and you are going to have your hands full for the next, oh, 50 years or so.

     

    Oh, and be EXTRA careful on Crowbar's "couples dilemna".  This is irrefutable evidence that your wife is in ka-hoots with other wives.  Couples night does NOT mean you and your buddies get a bunch of beers and watch the game while the wives are upstairs knitting and making snacks.  Oh nooooo.  Couples night means you will spent the better part of 5 hours playing games like Pictionary while your wife keeps a close eye on your alcohol intake and how many times you glanced at another wife's low cut blouse.

     

    Make no mistake, she will try to replace your fun-loving single friends (read: dangerous!) with the soulless husbands that have long forgotten what it was like to think on their own.  These are the same soulless husbands that gave up their Thursday nights when they got married.

     

    Poor bastards.

    I went to walmart and bought some of the suction things that you put on your windows and hang stuff on, and im thinkin if I take the suction things, put hot glue on them and stick them to the side of the truck, it will have enough to pull it out.

    How can you call Bush an extremist president?

    easy anyone who thinks his religous beliefs should stand for every person in this country by makin them law along with other things(happy marriage/abortion/unable to control his spending/not only allowing but supporting that bs patriot act which was piggybacked in a nice sneaky way on the amber bill after it was rejected) Basicly anyone who cant see the ground between the lines and understand its ok and important to look their for a solution i would consider an extremist.Just my thoughts not askin you to agree or really care if you do.

    i voted nader last time ill vote it again.The Fools in my opinion are the ones who wont vote for him just because you dont want someone else to win not because theres a better man for the job.

    I just want someone to be responsible.Ive been one that believes we need to be over there but i also believe 1.the wmd and level of threat was bs and a scam used to play on americans fear to get the support or 2.our intel system is sad and mis-managed.

     

    now the responsibility i believe falls to the president.He needs stand up and investigate it, make the changes, fires the people that screwed up or didnt do enough or he himself should be held acountable.From what ive seen like refusin to give the 9/11 counsil the time it wants to do its job,the hand slap the cia guy took for the false info in the pres. speech and at first refuse to investigate this intel mess it doesnt atleast on first impression to me seem like he wants to know what happened here or he doesnt want us to know what happened here.

    GJ wrestlers are a dif. bread of athlete.I took my kid to see midlands this yr. and saw some olympic wrestlers along wirth 15 out of the top 20 teams in the nation.They allowed a highschool guy out of indiana to compete for only the third time ever, he went 2-2.If you can be successful in wrestling you really can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
