I think it's dumb. So many admins out there think people are cheating when they really aren't. Get accidently banned for cheating and you're suddenly banned on 500 servers.

 

Even if they do have some sort of form to fill-out to request a person to be banned what kind of things do they need to have? Screenshots? Demos?

The SBS (Shared Ban System) will be a bit different as for people to get banned we have some guidelines soon available on the website. For example we need a demo of at least 5 minutes of the person in violation with the STEAM ID. Our experienced admin team will then analyse the demo and if all think its a cheater they will ban it on our list.

and after 3 of our admins have checked the demo file, our team will decide to ban or not.

It was a crazy sport and I got so pumped playing it and watching it... but it's VERY expensive when you do not have sponsors.... I and the team I was one didnt aquire more than 2 sponsors, so I stopped playing.

 

Still fun to do in the woods

Yup, all I can say is free entrance, air, and paint for 25/case is nice to have Plus cost on any parts is nice.

The sport can be incredibly expensive, it's the main problem I've seen holding it from growing more. I mean, getting into the sport can cost anywhere from 100-400$. Then just to go out for a day of play your looking at atleast 50$-100$ at a real field.

If it seems like I post on anything paintball related, its just what I think about constantly and wait for friday, sat, and sunday for. (also the same reasons I don't play cs on friday sat or sunday lol.)

The only thing super about racegun is the cost, around 1,400$ (new). Not worth it at all imho. There are many cheaper guns on the market that can perform like that.

Also most tournaments have very specific rules, some are semi-automatic only (one shot one trigger pull), where as that seems to be a bit more full auto which is definitely not going to be allowed at any local fields, and only allowed in certain tournaments, and even in those certain tournaments that allow things like "ramp" (shots ramp up, so if you keep pulling say 3-5 pulls per second you will shoot 15 balls per second). They cap the BPS (balls per second) to 15.

The major example of the leagues that would allow guns not in semi automatic would be

ESPN2 is airing the last NPPL championships all spring long. (in HD even)

Each episode will air first on Monday at 10 eastern, 9 central (pm). Then each episode will re-air 5 times the rest of the week. The first episode aired this week but you can catch it again on Friday @ 4:00pm or Saturday at noon or 9:00 pm (Eastern).

Well worth checking out...I'm a huge fan of the less known sports (I like watching Sumo and Logging competitions and even Slamball) and watched the first episode and was very pleased with the quality of the show. Usually these type of shows have horrid production quality but this felt like it was a primetime sport and was very entertaining.

Slamball rocks and so does paintball! Check it out. Theres something like 7 episodes of the espn 2 stuff.

Paintballs fun, tippmanns are one of the best low end guns on the market, they will almost never break and have little maintenance.

So someone buy this, I work for a paintball store and field.

It may seem expensive and not worth it at first, but after reaching level 29, and having 300k gold, I've decided I wish I had bought more training. Gold it seems is absolutely worthless at this point.

Just a tip, and what I plan on doing for the rest of my characters.

I'm working tonight so can't see it but GL guys. CAL-M is an entirely different level, I played it in 1.6. It's definitely fun to have tons of people in your IRC channel during a match or having it announced.

What we used to do in cal matches was, double bind your in game talk key and ventrillo key, then do voice_enable 0 in console, it will show who talks but you hear them over teamspeak. Only disadvantage is live players cant see which dead player is talking (which shouldn't matter, you should have a clue who your team is lol).
