I got all my stuff from newegg.com (great site buy there good prices) and i recived all of it yesterday. I built it and fired her up. It's perty! But i couldnt figure out why it wasnt displaying anything. I have pluged the speakers in either. So today I thought i should try the speakers. I fired it up and through the speakers i heard "Failed Memory test" over and over. :/ So I need to get my RMA and return it. (Stupid defective memory) But newegg is great about it. I got instant RMA approval.

The Agp rating doesnt mean anything really. It just tells you how fast it goes. I dont think there are any 8x agp mobos out there anyway but with your case the mobo will bottleneck the card but not alot. It should work perfectly fine.

I had a shield as ct on dust and there was a awper in the house. I ran and ducked and he tried to hit me and he ran out of bullets. Therefore he had to reload. Then I came running up and pistol whiped him. rofl

Ok I intalled citrix and vpnclient on my dads coworkers computer and he gave me this old P1 system. I thought of making it into a ftp server with maybe linux.

What I Know so far:

Liunx is basically a server. (easy set up)

Mandrake is a easy newb linux

the computer specs:

p1 120 mhz

16 mb ram

1 gb hd (will prolly upgrade)

win 95 office

Now the question i ask is will it even run on that system with the upgraded hd?

If so where can i get a free copy of Mandrake?
