You're not banned on the 3 new servers that are replacing the old ones atm:
recrud.gamerscoalition.com takes you to --> 216.52.148.55
mayhem.gamerscoalition.com takes you to --> 216.52.143.40
immut.gamerscoalition.com takes you to --> 66.151.138.49
And your ban should be lifted. However, when the bans are combined and put on these new servers, you'll likely get the axe again.
Just post up here if that happens and it'll be lifted by an LA or board member.

So, I can get a gift card for $200 to best buy or circuit city.
I'm in the market for a laptop, prolly HP.
Which do I choose?
-
Team killing at spawn + language will get you banned pretty quick.
Btw, this is "investigated" via logs, and that's what is there.

I can sympathize, although on the cold, not hot, side.
This reminds me of the worst year in my life, 2004.
It sure ended with a bang, 77 hours of no power: http://www.gamrs.co/forums/in...topic=15347&hl=
Some pics that really don't do the ice justice:
BTW, that's the east side of the house, not the side that faced the storm.

Wow Chief, just wow!!
As to the topic, part of my sociology degree was spent studying hobos. It really is an interesting way of life. In the past, America's economy depended on them as cheap labor for farmers. This is likely rarely the case anymore.
I've represented many homeless individuals. That is much different than a hobo. A hobo might inspire you with their ingenuity. A homeless person leaves you thinking "but for the grace of God go I...."

Bah, that doesn't sound like a real jet. Real ones are much louder.
Air force jets regularly fly over my house. Got reminded again tonite how loud they can be. Most of the time they are flying around with landing gear down doing circles, but tonite one came in from the east just roaring. Never seen one that looked like this around here. It came flying over at prolly 1500 feet. The sound from it trailed it by about 500 yards or so. Scared the bejeepers outta my son.
It circled back around with landing gear down and was much slower and quieter.
Gotta get my camera ready some time and take pics.

Just for comparison, here's a page with both a 100k pic and a 54k pic (stretched):
Definitely blurrier, but quicker loading.
Guess I should say again, great job!

Well, if they're anything like the batteries I use for RC, you need to know the amp draw of the device you're using. The batteries I use in my heli for example have 2.2 amps/hour of storage. Meaning they'll run a 2.2 amp draw device for 1 hour.
There's also some formula for figuring it out with watts.
You might also consider a power inverter for your car, which would be much cheaper.

Looks like those guys are having fun.
I have a jet that does b/w 60 and 70 mph (so I'm told). I've yet to fly it, as the planes I have that fly in the 30-40 mph range seem quick enough, and my heli addiction hasn't subsided.
I gotta believe 200 mph is with the wind in a dive tho. That video just did not make it seem that fast.

Fantastic idea!
Now to do the same with gcftw.com and we're all set.
-
West is playing as smooth for me as the other 2, which is great. Where are you guys playing from? Possibly traceroute it and see. The box isn't a problem.
-
No particular enjoyment, but we're certainly not mechanical about it either. SJ seemed to be looking for confirmation with his "gg?". So, I confirmed for him.
If M2 says you should be banned from all the servers, maybe you should. He is one of our lead admins.
-
I say gg.
I saw spam and nade and 24hrs. Sounds reasonable.
-
Those look nice.
You may need to get the file size down a tad tho, maybe 50k'ish.
-
... tell em to bring carrots.
Looks to me like Ebil just volunteered for event coordinator.

Lunk, I have some dead spots in my two story house with my Linksys as well.. Im thinking about making a better antenna to boost it further..
Try placing the antennas at 90 degree angles from each other. That will max your range. If one antenna doesn't get it, the other will that way.
If I remember right, the 2.4ghz transmit out of the side of the antenna, leaving a cone of silence projecting from the tip. Putting them at 90 degrees to each other should maximize the coverage.

Ayscotty,
You're just riding a line and pushing limits here. Play and have fun, but don't test the waters cause we issue rather large ban sticks.
IMO, 30 days seems fine for a 3rd strike. If this were more serious type of stuff, a 3rd would be a goodbye.

This was last night on the Seattle server. Seemed obvious to me, but take a look. The reason I pulled the trigger was the speed of the guy seemed way too fast.
snot rag STEAM_0:1:7860752
Had racked up 24 kills in about 4 minutes according to the logs.

Laggy
in What's Up?
Just did a tracert myself and got 28ms at the final hop.

Something in when you were playing in there SJ.
L0710121.log(1262): L 07/10/2006 - 22:14:37: Banid: "<><STEAM_0:0:1376588><>" was banned "permanently" by "Console"L0710121.log(9264): L 07/10/2006 - 22:18:59: Removeid: "<><STEAM_0:0:1376588><>" was unbanned by "Console"
L0710123.log(675): L 07/10/2006 - 22:21:10: Banid: "<><STEAM_0:0:1376588><>" was banned "permanently" by "Console"
This is when you and laz were in there playing with files. Might have mixed an old file in there somewhere b/c his last connects all ended by user disconnect, and no other bans I saw.
Other than that, he appears clean, except for:
L 05/11/2006 - 02:42:49: "??? ?ao??c<2437><STEAM_0:0:1376588><Unassigned>" disconnected (reason "Kicked by Console : Illegal Alias In Use")Not positive that that even means anything.
Banned, for unknown reason
in Banned from any of our servers?
Can't say I've ever noticed pope post here, this was his ban.
Here're the logs: Logs
Not the most egregious, but still it's there.
