It would be nice if every server showed on a page with 800 x 600 rez.

I think he means having them all fit to the screen, so you don't have to scroll down, with only basic stats showing and drop down boxes listing players on the server at the time.

Fatty are you adding sound to your videos? If so and you are not using video match what are you using. Im also wondering if there is a way to convert .dem files to .mov that would make editing on my imac hella easy.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, or explain it please, but I thought demo's were just a database of player positions, shots, players, guns, etc. Then playback was just CS reading from the database and plugging in positions, etc. Because if you have special skins they show up in all demos, no matter who recorded.

That would make traditional conversion seem impossible. I dunno tho....if someone knows, please explain.

Mag, I've bought (or ordered for the firm) enough computers in the last coupla years to say that if you're going pre-built, go with Dell. They leave upgrade options available, their mobos are high quality, and they are just well built. Others may disagree, but I have yet to have a major hardware issue with any Dells purchased (on the 6th or 7th I've dealt with in past couple years).

I sit and work on my mag_hack v. 3.041. Designed to kill anyone named Magruter on sight. It's coming along well, although I saw a glitch last nite when it attacked him when we were teamed up. Working on it tho.

Seriously tho.....my home is my office, so sometimes I look over client stuff. Others, I'll look up stuff on the other computer. Check on the pregnant wife. Play with the dog. I do try to watch the better players also, to see what they are doing, learn new tricks.

You're prolly looking at a private, always passworded, recon server....check out the public ones, they're a bit more.

200 gallons = 25,600 ounces = 2133.33 beers = 88.89 cases

That's 3 beers daily for both people......guess it could be done.

My folks went to some time share thing and "won" a OddesseyII gaming system. It only had a few games made for it but boy I sure played the fire out of it.

Oh man, rev, I completely forgot about the oddessey II (sp?). KC Munchkins, the pac-man rip off, was a blast. Being able to design your own board. Good times. Somehow my parents got us that instead of an Atari 2600.

Subject to regulation prescribed by the Secretary, any adult may,

   without payment of tax, produce beer for personal or family use and

   not for sale.  The aggregate amount of beer exempt from tax under

   this subsection with respect to any household shall not exceed -

       (1) 200 gallons per calendar year if there are 2 or more adults

     in such household, or

       (2) 100 gallons per calendar year if there is only 1 adult in

     such household.

That's the applicable section. Not allowed to sell it and they can't tax you for it. But it appears you may be allowed to make more but just have to pay taxes on it. Maybe I misread the first time......Will have to look for that box on the 1040.

I got the same processor in my old comp, it's a bios setting to get it back. It's prolly nothing to do with the lockup (most of mine on that computer are graphics related).

Some strange reason, my bios reverted to the slower FSB about a coupla months ago. I still haven't figured that out, but setting it back up fixed it.

A keg is 16 gallons if I remember right from college. Pony kegs are 8 gallons.

Anyways, 100 gallons would be like 40+ cases of beer; 80+ cases if there's another adult in the house. That seems like a major operation to brew that much beer from home.

Well if this will ease anyone's tension, I just now realized that PMS in the topic didn't stand for personal messages I had read it and the replies and had been thinking "wonder why the topic is named that?"

Scripts seem to be the way to efficiently record movies. I've put together a small one that kinda automates recording up to ten of them. You can get it here.

Just put it in cstrike directory then exec movie.cfg in console and then keys 0-9 record movies with different names each (partone thru partten). The minus key stops the movie.

Just seems easier then dropping down console all the time. And using viewdemo, it seems kinda simple.

Well, if it was thru the wall, it was also thru a box and thru any possible line of site. Oh, and before any chance of CT being at the site first, which isn't possible. Lost is appropriate for that map. I'm sorry moss, but you've lost my respect for that crap. If you'd of random shot a coupla bullets into me thru that box, woulda made sense, but 3-4 straight hits, with no LOS is complete BS.

Before any gets all huffy, I was also informed that the previous round or two I was being "tracked" by lost, .... i.e. moss.......by teammates

Sum it up, I don't trust you after this, i know what I saw. If someone wants to unban you...so be it. It won't be me.

Well, the fact of the matter is, Fatty's not always on the losing team. And I know you may have just been kidding about that comment. But, most of the time I've heard him talking about it is when he's on the winning team. Anyone who's on his team can vouch that if they start owning, he'll ask for volunteers from the team to switch over voicecomm or he'll switch himself. Soo......

I think some people are just missing the point. People start to whine when teams are 10-8 and they lose a single round...no matter what K:D ratio is. They look and see 10-8 and automatically think "unfair". That's just mindless and doesn't take into account what is really going on.

Ownings by one side lead to people dropping from the losing side and going elsewhere. A situation that is not wanted if you want a server that is full as much as possible.

Fatty's taking a proactive role in building the server.....He should be commended for it....not questioned as to his maturity.

EQ doesn't even compare to Anarchy Online IMO.

Anarchy is very cool. The musical scores and scenery are just too cool. It's been a few months since I've played it, but was addicted to it for a year. Certainly has some balancing issues, and PVP is a joke, but overall the game is very cool. Worth checking out.

Aztec3 seems like it'll be fun once everyone gets their bearings there. A lot of routes for the bomb to go, and good coverage areas for CTs. But not many have that map.

Dodgeball sounds like alot of fun i'm gonna try and find a server with that on tonight.

Don't forget to stop by the Cage for the obligatory 8 kills.......you promised I think
