Hopefully this kinda stuff is just due to the time of year. Everyone having to work less and therefore playing later - and New Years day was a slap fest with everyone being a little sauced.

But I hear ya.......and a half dozen others.....complaining about this kinda stuff.

I really dont think the level of skill on our servers is all that low. I have been server hopping lately on servers where I get great pings and usually I can do really well. Around a 3/1 k:d ratio. But on our servers i usually get a 1/1.

I'm with ya on that. When I restarted in September there was one particular server I used to go to a lot - b/c ff was off there, they were full at really late hours, and I was just getting beaten on at Plat and didn't have a handle on ff. Went back to that server a coupla weeks ago and went 25-3 I think. Got accused of hacking (of course) but the regulars there know me and congratulated me on being in Mmmm, which is cool.

its a OmniTech, doubt anyones heard of it, mainly only used in schools, colleges, and huge corporations

On another note, I'm with Gond, went 2.4 b/c price differences b/w 2.66 and 3.06 were too much when I just needed mainly an office computer and to be able to play CS.

Started playing CS back in 1999 I believe when my brother (Lunk) introduced it to me. Before that was playing TFC. Took a break from CS from September 2001 to September 2002 to play Anarchy Online.

Several posts have suggested the making of an MCC montage (sp?) - a cool little video for the community on the MCC tourney.

Well, there's a lot of video there to review, and it'll be a big task for whoever is considering it.

With that in mind, use this post as a place to point out those precious moments Whether it be of yourself, a bud in your clan, or just a time when you really got owned or saw some great teamplay.

Prolly easiest way is to use viewdemo <demoname> in console. Then hitting F2 will bring down the video menu. This will give a time in the video when the event occurs. Then just post the time and the demoname and a short blurb about what it is. Maybe even a round number and demoname with description will work.

Either way, whoever makes a video of this will be appreciative.

Just ran AA at 4x and AF at 8x and the FPS on the ti4200 stayed at 98-99 using cl_showfps 1 and net_graph 5. Am I missing something??

Image quality was improved, and it flowed smoothly. I dunno. Could it be that it'll work if you have the processing power on the computer?

Tested the old comp (GF2 mx400) and it did drop FPS to 50-60.

EDIT: tried it with BF1942......now I see a difference

I had posted the above in Mmmm private forums when I got the new one, so just cut and pasted here.

Monitors are both 17" and mice are both versions of MS Intellimouse Explorer Optical. Gotta say the best thing for playing CS has to be the Audigy; sound is just so much better thru it; even on a cheapo labtech headset. Both graphics cards put out a smooth 100 fps.

Using a linksys cable/dsl router (NR401) to allow both to play at same time.

If anyone could explain benchmark scores in layman's terms, it'd be appreciated.

If this banning was last nite, then more was going on then is being said. It wasn't as if he was just banned (which, in hindsight, he should be on sight), I had kicked him for being a jerk to others. He obviously reconnected and did enough to be banned by another admin.

So, it wasn't that he didn't do anything. Obviously he did enough to get kicked once, then banned when he came back. And I believe this all happened before Fatty connected, meaning Fatty never banned him.

Also, please review this. You've given absolutely no information here. Save for reading some other posts, I'd have no clue what you were talking about. You're basically saying "I didn't do it; oh and sontek didn't either". Do what? I'm not trying to sound rude, but please give some info here.
