the fact that i see in this case is that the female chest is considered "taboo" or sexully stiumlating

even though the chest has zero to do with sexual intercourse (dont think about this one in the wrong way), the chest is not gentila and is not a sex organ

now then why is it considered taboo?

becuase sexuality is considered wrong

becuase of pastors or bishops getting up in front of a large group of people and preaching to them that it is wrong

therefore anything that is sexually stimulating is wrong becuase of the church

teachers here in connecticut are some of the best paid in the country too...hmmmm

i have a very similar thought pattern batman. But i'm fighting my thoughts between equal rights and this which is what it comes down to. What is the difference between male and female breasts? why is it that the female breast is taboo but the male isn't? size perhaps, but that is obviously not the deciding factor. basically it comes down to just a bunch of socialization.

 

women have two taboo things- breasts and groin, males have 1

its really an interesting development in reguards to social beliefs.

it is taboo because of its social implaction of sexuality, which is therefore why the church is against it (my impression that the church, especially the catholic one, is extremely against anything sexiuly suggestive)

this same agruement can be applied to the janet jackson incedent....her breast being shown seemed to be worse then the male performers that grabbed their crotches or were topless themselves (i think a few in Nelly's crew were shirtless or in T's ...male though) the fact that they rapped about violence didnt play any part everything focused around the female breast of janet jackson

the idea that teachers get 4-3 months off of work is true in the sense they are not required to work those hours but for any "good" teacher it usually is a must (for the upper grades and college) to prepare during those months

my mom is a professor here at uconn and she spends just as much time during the summer working on lectures/class stuff as she does teaching and having her office hours during the school year
