    That would be horrid. Some version of SimCity did that in their quest/drive through mode. Hardcoded ASDW as controlls and since I use a Dvorak layout it was unplayable.

    When we got married 4 years ago we updated all the accounts that were in my wife's name. The vast majority of the stuff was in her name since I sold my house six months before we got married. Out of at least 10 accounts, Comcast is the only one that wanted to charge us money to update our information. Sure it was only a dollar, but we weren't gonna pay it. That really p1ssed me off. We wasted more than a dollars worth of their time complaining about it on the phone, they could have just updated it like every other company.

    It all makes sense now.

    My economics professor wore the same chalk-stained pants every day, and he'd just keep repeating what he previously said when trying to explain something, cuz he couldn't come up with a better explanation. You were just supposed to "get" it if he kept saying the same thing. Great part was that if after he'd waste about 10 minutes trying to explain supply and demand using some tractors vs. corn thing, cuz it was in North Dakota and I suppose he figured we'd get that. If you asked some question like, so ..... "if I buy more corn then I can't afford to buy more tractors?" :unsure: ... then he'd ramble on about it incoherently for the rest of the hour.

    If you want to surprise her AND let her give input, consider a jeweler that will let you select the stone, then have it set in a temporary setting. Then the two of you can shop for the setting once she says yes.

    i'm under the impression we went back to mani because people didn't like the change. rotating map cycles (chron), warm up, voting, admin menu. people just didn't seem to be willing to move away from mani.

     

    We wouldn't need rotating cycles, warmups, voting, etc. on deathmatch. As long as there are bots for the first ppl and we can kick/ban we'd be fine.

    She researched prices on Amazon and Craigslist. There were several refurbs in the other buying options for the price she listed it at. Lots of used ones for more than that. She'll adjust the price if it doesn't sell. After looking at reviews of those sites, I probably wouldn't buy from refurbdepot .. satisfaction looks hit or miss. Buy.com I'd be very careful who the seller is. 6Ave electronics looks to be reputable. Fair price depends on where you're selling it. 6ave electronics sells the new one on Amazon for $50 more than they do at buy.com, and to be honest, I'd probably buy from their Amazon store before buy.com.

     

    Anyway, wasn't trying to screw anyone here. The beauty of craigslist is you get to touch/see/try the item before you buy. People are willing to pay a bit more for that. After this thread, I'm not sure why I even listed it here anymore.
