  1. yeah, they doubled the XP reg per level during the beta.

Its the same xp/lvl and xp/mob now as it was in beta, don't listen to what the boards tell you.

a liar? No, I have just played the game for well over a year now it was under 2 hours to level 10 as I said i don't know the exact time cause I really don't care too much. According to your rules twinking isn't against the rules which is what I did. My warrior right now at level 25 is wearing ALL blue armor which is something even my level 60 mage can't say yet and he has 2 purples waiting to be used once he reaches the appropriate level. Warriors are amazing to twink out since they are so highly gear dependent.

Next time I make an alt I will make sure to take a screenshot just to put to rest your doubts.

  2. I've done 1-10 in 55 minutes in beta, haven't started many alts in retail but I do believe my warrior did it in about 1 hour even, was somewhere around there.

  3. One of two scores.

Either 31-10 Pats over the Eagles

or 27-20 Eagles over the Pats

:P I think if the game is kept close the Eagles are gonna win this one, however I think the Pats are gonna blow the Eagles out. Time will tell.

  4. i would say only manning and culpepper are better than vick on that list

mcnabb and farve would be iffy (farve would be better if it was 3 or 5 years ago...but farve is gettin old)

Favre is getting old? The Packers set a franchise record for their offense this year including passing yards. Not sure how you can say Favre is getting old and not being productive. The Pack had the #1 offense in the NFC in terms of yards per game. The place the Packers struggled is their defense. Favre is still very capable of running an outstanding offense.

  5. He made the record setting TD in regulation btw :P it was his TD that tied the game followed by the 2 point conversion that sent the game to overtime. They got a field goal in overtime to win it. Both Manning and Brees were pretty good yesterday. I have been extremely surprised with San Diego this year and I have always thought that Manning was an outstanding athlete.

  6. once again...i believe that church should be seperate from state

dunno where i pointed out the first amendment

And in today's society do you see the church running the government? or the government running the churches?

    nope

you see the corporations running the government if anything.

  7. I wasn't saying that you are ganking, I am talking about hte server in general. I had a lvl 60 on the closed beta PvP server I am very aware of how the server works, I also leveled to 35 on both of the "PvE" servers in closed beta so I know how they work. I love PvP and would not play an MMO without PvP however I don't like the way the PvP servers work. Once battlegrounds are implemented this will only further widen the gap that I feel between the 2 server types.

  8. Yep, I looked it up and its Washington and Miami in 91, and Colorado and GT in 90. Great weekend of football coming up, and no the Badgers shouldn't be #1 in your football... and if you want to, I'll prove more reasons why. Also, any more questions about BCS till its the end of the season and we have like 4 undefeated teams and you will find me eating my own words...  :D

So, 5 undefeated teams at the end of the season :P

Pittsburgh in a BCS bowl, Cal stuck on the outside looking in and they were the only school in top 6 defense and offense.

Michigan, Pitt and to a slightly lesser extent VA Tech could have been replaced by more worthy teams. Pitt is the biggest disgrace to the bunch, they won by the rules but the rules are flawed imo.

I think TX definately deserves a bowl bid, I mean their only loss was to OK but at the same point Cal's only loss was to USC so how can you deny them a bowl bid?

I think in my ideal world you would have an 8 team playoff system and this year it would be:

    1) USC

    2) OK

    3) Auburn

    4) Cal

    5) Texas

    6) Utah

    7) Boise State

    8) Louisville, Georgia or VA Tech

The last spot is hard for me to say, Louisville has been impressive with how many points they can put up and their one loss was only by a field goal to a pretty good Miami team. Likewise Georgia lost a close game to TN and got beaten by a team that could very well be the best team in the country. VA Tech lost to USC and lost a heart breaker to NC. The system needs some reform imo.

EDIT: Utah and Boise State had the 2 easiest schedules across the country however I don't think you can take anything away from a team that goes undefeated especially considering both of them blew out a lot of their opponents.

  9. Personally I have yet to play a game I didn't beat :P HL2 I haven't finished yet but I am still working on it taking my time. WoW has been keeping me busy. But outside of that every game that I own I have beaten.

  10. ding ding ding. you win the price called "the school is not the parent"

but thats not the way we're going :(

    a pity.

i think we should encourage abstinence and then from there educate about safe sex for later in life. its better than nothing.

Yep I agree there, the parents should be the one teaching these things and my parents did. Unfortunately a lot of parents dont.

  11. but the government only funds the abistence programs...

Completely untrue. Public schools are funded by the government and you yourself said that you were taught safe sex in school. In my high school I wasn't even taught abstinence they ONLY taught safe sex and I thought that was absurd. The government funds more than abstinence.

  12. The thing is with the way the post office works(delivering mail to every house in America) they have more or less a flat operating cost. Whether they deliver 1,000,000 pieces of mail in a day or if they deliver 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 they more or less have to go to the same locations and it will take roughly the same amount of time. Of course gas consumption will go up with more mail and sorting time but the day in and day out operation of mail takes the same amount of time. So their costs will go up with inflation and as gas prices increase however their revenue is decreasing due to the internet and email, ebill pay, ecards, etc... So their costs are rising yet their revenue is decreasing. It should be quite clear why they need to increase the cost of stamp. Supply and demand. Though with the postal service supply and demand works in the opposite way of regular supply and demand. AS the demand for the post office goes down they have to raise their prices in order to keep from dropping into the red. Their supply remains constant.

  13. yea it's definately Illidan server already, if not all of them. The economy is quickly becoming inflated. Another thing is fishermen though, they set bots to fish 24/7, that generate's large amount of gold coming into the economy too.

It can't get but so bad though, the gold limit is only 99g so atleast there is a limit to how bad it can get. ( I think i read it's limited to 99g somewhere, any confirm this ?)

It is not 99g, I had over 500g in beta and the lvl 60 mounts cost 1000g.

  14. 1) the selling point when they raised the stamp price last time was that 'they wouldn't have to do it again for a while'. it was planning ahead.

    2) they raised it just a few years later in one of the biggest price hikes ever.

    1 +2 = lie.

10% increase isn't much? how about a 37% increase? thats whats happened over the past 10 years. is that too much? when is it 'too' much.  this 10% raise will generate 5-6 billion a year. the total amount alloted to both the usps and social security in the 2003 tax plan was 40 billion if i remember right. 1/8th of the total for that is generated by this stamp raising.

    gas prices go up? ok.

500,000,000 miles driven a year(random number. you want bigger?) times .30(random gas price increase) is 150million. boy. thats hardly any of 5-6 billion. bump it up to 1billion miles driven a year by the drivers, ah. thats better..300 million..oh crap... 1/16th of the total revenues a year. how much higher do you want to bump that up and everything else up. it doesn't need to go up that much to stay with inflation.

we shouldn't have to privitize the mail system because the federal one is getting too expensive.

    A few things.

    1) From the initial article you linked it states 3 billion increase not 5-6 billion so don't go pulling numbers out of your donkey.

    2) When did they increase the rate to .37? It was several years ago and this new stamp rate won't take effect until at the earliest sometime in 2006. I think the .37 stamp came out in 2001? 2000? 1999? It was at least 3-4 years ago already.

You can look at all their financial records right at www.usps.com I was looking over it and as of August which is the last report they have available they were more or less breaking even and had been steadily going down hill so I could see that at their current rate they would be in the red soon enough. What is so hard to understand about them taking a letter from Seattle to Orlando costing them more than .37? It just doesn't seem like something that would even be a hot topic to me, I really don't see where you are coming from at all, the postal service is very very cheap, especially compared to the alternatives.

  15. one person has to get rich in order for us to be taxed too much for them to lie to us that they would raise the price now(circa 3 years ago) so they wouldn't have to again in the future?

I just don't think they are lying, I don't see some big conspiracy theory here. right now 37 cents is very cheap to send an envelope compared to what UPS, DHL or Fed Ex will charge you. The USPS is even cheaper on most cases for sending items overnight compared to UPS. DHL is chepaer for sending overnight than both by quite a bit. The fact of the matter is that the prices haven't gone up in 3 years. I don't know about you but property taxes, insurance, rent, etc... everything else goes up in price once a year. The property taxes here in Milwaukee county just went up 8.75% this year. So the stamps going up 10.8% after 3 years doesn't seem like a whole lot to me. Consider other things, 4 years ago I could get a case of Sprite on sale for $4.00 now I am lucky if I get them on sale for $6.00 That is a 50% increase. Likewise gas is now roughly $2.00 per gallon here. It was about $1.50 3 years ago. Inflation happens, prices go up, they always will. I don't think there is some big conspiracy, make some fat guy rich thing going on here. If they were talking about doubling the price of stamps you might have an idea but a .04 increase to a .37 stamp is 10.8% that isn't that much.

  16. ok. i'm worng, but i did say 'if i remember right' reguardless there was a big tax price hike in gas 1-2 years ago and i was still paying 50 cents a gallon more then than i am now-was like that all accross north carolina.

now lets get back on subject. gas prices still aren't high enough to justify a 10% increase in stamp prices. one of the main selling points that they said last time was 'we wont have to raise stamp prices soon if we go ahead and raise it now'. saying that 'we can always go somewhere else' is saying that we are not already sponsoring this through government programs. we are giving them more and more money- they're doing a great job. butseriously. since the mid 90s what has caused us to almost double our stamp rates. the gas rates have increased - yes. but it does not take that many raises. they've raised stamp prices every 3 years or so and i'm yet to see any reason for it.

Do you see anyone becoming billionaires off of the post office? If they were really charging too much the money would have to be going somewhere.
