I have a jos.wad file in my C:\SIERRA\Counter-Strike file

Hitman, I do have the Half Life CD, but if I unistall Counter Strike, will that change my Wonid #?

My de_nuke.bsp file is in C:\SIERRA\Counter-Strike\cstrike\maps

I need some help, every time de_nuke loads I get kicked because of error message

can't find job.wad

Somebody posted a link to fix this and I downloaded it and read the readme file but it still won't work!!

Please help!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I read the readme.txt right after I dowloaded it. Put it in the cstrike folder.

Thanks Moss, I'd like to go to your private server, let me know how to do it.

Sometime I get a litte frustrated playing when I attack an enemy and am laying the shots into him, then the next thing I know is I'm laying on the ground after only taking a couple shot from him.

I read in a guide that burst shots and head shots are best and have been trying, but am still trying to find the best way to aim.

I guess practice, practice, practice.

Thanks, that helps. I was wondering if there was another issue that I could get some assistance with. Everytime the Mmmm server downloads de_nuke, I get kicked out and an error message that reads:

WARNING:couldn't open valve/jos.wad

What do I need to do to get that file or should I just dowload that map from a server?

how do I get 'net_graph 3' off my screen(I have trouble seeing my green backs)

cl_cmdrate 30

cl_updaterate 20

I'm also now able to use OpenGL, before if I would try to use it the program would shut down.

I'm going to play around with the setting and see which work best for me.

I found a forum on 3fall3 where orbiter hav a tweat guide and downloaded tweak xp pro. I went through and tweated everything on now I am able to max out at 99-100fps and my loss/choke are both at 0. Hopefully now I can start chalking up some more frags with more practice(I am very new to this)

Where do I go to change my settings or check them?

on certain maps like de_dust2 the choke stays low but it will go to 99 and I can't see or do anything
