  1. You said there was no reason for what happened to them and I am saying there was. The grand mufti of Palestine was a Nazi and participated in the Holocaust. So no, they were not just some innocent bystanders.

I was referring to your intention of reforming schools. I was aware of the Mufti, but the Mufti isn't all of the Palestine people who suffered from the decision. Personally, I don't think I have an opinion on if it was right or wrong because it was before my time, but the giving of land for the nation of Israel seemed more like a cop out (I haven't done an in depth study of it, just read a few articles) for the British during that time in Israel. The ship of Exodus in 1947 is a good example.

  2. The Bible says that anyone who is against Israel is against God Himself.

The bible also said "Thou shalt not kill." Want to guess what Israel's missiles are doing?

If your back is against the wall and someone is coming towards you with the intend to beat you senseless, do you just stand there and take it or do you fight back?

People also have to remember that Hamas is basically a finger on the arm that is Iran. This is a proxy war.

I believe the bible's natural response would be to "turn the other cheek." Also, in the end, it says do not kill, regardless of intention.

No the Bible says you should not "murder".

"(Roman Catholic) You shall not kill / (Lutheran) You shall not murder"

more discrepancies within the bible, but ignoring that issue, i'll take the more popular phrase "thou shalt not kill" over "thou shalt not murder"

also, sj should post cite the story, since Al Jazeera is a legitimate, highly accomplished tv station; other mainstream media uses Al Jazeera broadcasts regularly when reporting on the Middle East

More discrepancies come from translation than the Bible itself. The Hebrew word used in that command is indeed used for "murder" and "kill," therefore, the root of its true meaning is hard to place so most stay away from both if they want to live biblically. Also, Israel doesn't follow the "turn the other cheek" commandment issued in the New Testament because that is not part of their scripture/canon. Anyway.. the issue with Israel and Palestine has been an issue for thousands of years. From studies, as well, it seems more battles have taken place in that territory than anywhere else in ancient to modern times (clarifying what you consider a battle that is). Most of the terrorist actions going on are fundamentalist groups of Islam from particular group, and Israel is at fault for their terrorist actions as well. Also, keep in mind it is Islamic fundamentalists who follow the rules of killing all who oppose them, those who believe separate from them, and those who attack them. As a religion major, many Islamic imam's will declare that most the verses declaring war, and killing are pure defensive verses. Believe what you want really, but there are still those who follow them offensively for their cause and willing to die and kill for it. 9/11 opened up eyes a little more certain actions, that's for sure. Anyway.

I do not really have an opinion on the matter because Israel was given land on a Palestinian owned parcel for reparation from the Holocaust; whom, in fact, had nothing to do with it in the first place.

  4. Ha.

Nicely put. Nothing less from you fellows.

Who knows how "strongsad" is nowadays. I simply have this name from 4 or 5 years of gaming with it, ha. I don't part with it much ;].

  5. I second the map rotation wish list. The old rotation was at least a little more enjoyable, however, some maps I'd like to keep (chateau, prodigy are fun every now and then). I'm pretty much in the server daily and the player fluctuate enormously depending on map, minus the regulars that come in just to have a good time.

    New mappsss!
