    Onyxia is on farm status and we took down Rag sunday ! So ummhhmm he is on farm status now too. Perditions , Bloodfang Pants, Dragonstalker Legguards , Dragon's Blood Cape. Ironing out our razorgore strats and its almost time for Zul Gurub'  .... <3 new content. How is everyone else doing.

     

     

    What kind of fire resists did your MT have against Rag? Also melee, casters?

    The guild im in has been doing MC for a few months, but haven't taken down Rag yet. I finally got to MC last week for the first time.

    Hey Brill. Not sure if the problem your having is related to the maintanence the other day. When I logged in on wednesday (day after the patch) it showed I only had characters on argent dawn. I logged into another server that I knew I had characters and they were there, but they did not show on the server listing.. Did you actually go into the server character screens to see your toons? If they are still not there.. sounds like they got deleted by someone.

    It continually amazes me that a game designed to promote killing and death, is run and administered by those promoting peace and a "why can't we all get along?" attitude.  How is it that a player is banned for adhering to a policy?  Point in case... a warning to "WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!" is followed by a simple comment that blood and gore is alright, but no swearing, what is up with that?  When the comment is made WITHOUT ANY SWEARING, why is a banning to follow?  Is the admin so thin-skinned, immature, and unable to allow a 'LITTLE' disharmony in their virtual world that they must begin banning players who are not tight-lipped or conformists?  Makes one wonder how they would be in a real-life leadership position?  Stalin-istic, Hitler-istic?  Seems like the ability to choose an admin based an ability to address a concern and be able to do so in an intelligent manner, allowing ALL sides to bring to the front their position, would be more beneficial in the long-run.  Lord knows there was plenty of time to discuss anything, as the teams in this instance were particularly one-sided.  Now, I know you can bring the argument "It is our server and we can do whatever we want!"  OK, don't make it public then...  I really feel owning a PUBLIC server but not allowing PUBLIC opinion is like moving to the United States from some other part of the world and expecting the U.S. to cater to your beliefs.  But I am straying from the topic....  I would have just liked to see a little understanding, considering that when we ALL play CS we DO get frustrated at losing time after time after time....  and venting is bound to occur in one way, shape or form...  or perhaps bleeding heart liberal is also considering cursing on your PUBLIC server.  IMHO your actions admin today were in every way immature as any comment made trying to vent at multiple losses.  :boo:

    Vacation...

    in FragFest Ohio 2005

    At 4am this morning the wife and I met up with the in-laws. We are driving to ontario from new brunswick. Instead of going through Quebec, we went through Maine, New Hampshire, vermont, and new york state. I'm sitting on a deck over looking a scenic road in Lake Placid, oh and its my 1st year wedding anniversary today. So the in-laws are taking us out to supper. Such a nice area!

     

    Tomorrow we head up north to Ontario for a few days. Then Friday I head down to Michigan to meet up with Soul and then we drive down to Ohio. When planning this vacation I was really only thinking about fragfest and talking to old friends, but only in one day I've been blown away by some of the nice places we've past by. Looking forward to the rest of the week!

     

    Don't know if I will have internet access at the families house.. if I do, maybe I'll post more.

    *minor spoilers.. dont read the 2nd paragraph if your dont want to see them*

     

    Call me crazy, but I enjoyed the 1953 version a bit more. Yes the new version has great affects, etc, and the old version is a little cheesy, but its one of the old classics and I watch it everytime I notice its on the tele.

     

     

    As for some of the things mentioned above, I didn't notice the lights thing, I did notice the cage thing, but I thought I saw a few dead bodies when they were crawling out. The axe and the prob thingy wasnt that far fetched, its a alien ship, and the arms have to be flexible, which means it likely wasnt solid metal.. just use your imagination there :D As for the last part you mentioned decoy. Did you mean the fact that the houses were untouched, or because it had the lights on?

     

    Overall a great popcorn movie. 7/10

    I will be using my laptop for FF, but I can't stand using the built in keyboard for gaming. Does anyone have a spare USB keyboard they could bring to fragfest?

    I watched the annoucements this morning... and I must say, those people "singing" the olympic athem really sucked. I had to change the channel and go back for the annoucement.

    I have a 2nd account that im selling. Has a 29 warlock on it. Just waiting on strange first to see if he wants it. If he doesn't, its up for grabs. I think it has another month left on the subsciption as well. (40 bucks US)

    Hey... stop talking about a exploit. This is my welcome back admin post, ;)

     

    VooDooPC, keep in mind of the players on each team. Both team had a few regulars that I found play at the same level. So lets say if dv-8, adsumn(sp?), and unnamed1 were on Terr, im sure their record would be better because of teamplay. I know that happens for me, my score almost always depends on my team because I work with the team, not baiting, watching the radar, communicating. I only saw 2 reallly skilled players on the server, bear and kage. Both of which had good records on both maps if I recall correctly. (not to take anything away from another player..honest) <3

     

    Just on another note, I might of played CS 5 times in the span on 6 months because of WoW, but as of last week I have been playing a fair amount. I'm really impressed with the new regulars, and the new admins that have joined the community.

    Funny, I told the folks in the server I now have to wait for more whining on the boards.

     

    For 2 maps all you did was complain. Complaining about the getting killed, missing, etc. After Terrorist owning CT's 5 rounds + in a row, you complain about the teams. I looked at the teams and I did not see stackage, only poor team play. You repeated the stackage claim once you lost 2 rounds in a row in Office. I looked at the teams (even btw), and I looked at the players... You may want to look up what stacked means, because I did not see stacked players. Try leading your team, and spend less time complaining.

     

    Maybe another admin could post the logs for the 2 maps (bears comments, and my comments)

     

    Here's a screen shot on office.. I had switched to CT 2 rounds after you left. When I look at the players,not the records, I see about the same skill level). I wish I screen shotted the previous map, because the teams were not a like at all.

    Many times I have switched to another team for balance, but if a player just whines a lot.. I do not usually give them time of day. Lets call it the broken record synrome.

    People need to stop taking lame marriage so personal, if you think a lame person marrying another lame person affects your marriage in a negative way, then you likely have deeper issues to address with your loved one. I can understand someone for being against it for religious reasons, but it still does not affect your unity with your husband/wife.

     

    Frankly, if you think lame marriage will ruin the sanctity of marriage, you may want to look at the divorce rate in north america...
