  1. Wolf ammo isn't top tier but I have never had a misfire or anything. I pull the trigger and the pullet goes where I wanted it to, so how does it suck when I only buy it for target and plinking?

Oh and Cabellas is free when you pick up at a store (there's one pretty close to me)

Ammoman is not free shipping he carries that cost into his ammo price, this means that if you're 20 miles or 10 states away you pay the same for shipping cost.

Point taken.. I just won't fire crap like that through any of my guns. Call me anal if you want..

You are correct about ammoman but the service is hands down the best on the net.

If I had a Cabellas around the corner I may go there more often, but the closest one is in Grand Forks, ND which is 1.5 hours away.

  2. btw, have you heard that the twin cities are officially moving towards the nickname "twincy?" seriously. http://is.gd/clKb

Yay Votes: Chuck Terhark, Taylor Carik, a47danger, Barack Obama (challenged), Molly Priesmeyer, Morris Day (unverified), BloodyP, Al Franken (Unverified), Matt Albiniak<----, R. T. Rybak (Challenged)…

Next to Al Franken huh... Twincy sounds rather ghey imo.

  3. so u guys are saying they would charge less if they didnt have to pay the lazy union workers so much ? lol

I'm not saying that, but as a small tier one supplier like the company I was working at they shut it down because of the wages and moved everything to a factory that was non-union. I agree that the big three probably have hefty margins on their products, no question. I recall my friends dad whom worked at GM in Lansing, Mi saying in the early 90's it only cost $6,000 - $7000 for a Grand Am, but the retail was $10,000 or more at that time. But I think he was just refering to the material cost, not all of the logistics and engineering costs associated with designing and manufacturing new cars.

  4. I agree with Clueless 100%. I worked as a production supervisor at a UAW factory and it was an absolute joke. I can't even count the number of grievances filed against me for doing an UAW workers job (even though I was qualified) just to get a machine back up and running so I didn't have to wait 30mins to hours for a support person to show up. Hands down the most inefficient place I ever worked at.

The Delphi quote is right on, the place I was working at ended up closing because they couldn't compete any longer.

  5. Thanks guys.

I use Cubase 4 with an MBox 2 Pro. The list of instruments/plugins that I use (off the top of my head) are RealStrat, RealGuitar, Absynth, FM8, and Sampletank, Guitar Rig 2, CSR (reverb), Cubase's built in delay (I need a better one), T-Racks, various EQs whose names and designs I can't recall.

Software instruments? I would have sworn the bass guitar was totally real for Toilet Overture! :stretch:

Nice. Keep recording. It's so much fun eh?

    Cubase ftw!!
