  1. I'm not sure, but I don't think there are any tvs 55 feet or larger

    false.

the screen at cowboys stadium is 125'. sadly, i just don't have the room (anymore). needs to be 55' or smaller.

If you do get the room let me know, they made that sign just 45 minutes north of here, and old friend is one of the Sales managers if you need the hook up :P

  2. I'm not looking forward to it, but when the revolution comes, i will be forced to kill you all...

    ...not you Maestro

When the revolution comes I wanna see guy who invented RoboCalling against the wall first.

I still get that one once a month with the LOUD fog horn blast telling me I've won tickets to a cruise ship...

  3. Windows 8 vs 7 Gaming review

Only four games, still better than nothing. Those on AMD Bulldozer/Piledriver CPUs should certainly upgrade but that isn't much of a surprise since the Windows 8 scheduler is aware of their organization and cache hierarchy. Frames are about the same, but Windows 8 certainly seems to have less stuttering issues dependent on whether it's nVidia or AMD video.

  4. I would most certainly pick a different power supply - your components total up to roughly 310W, not sure what you need 1050W PSU for. More importantly I'd doubt that 'Kingwin' could put out anywhere near to 1000W I'd suggest picking a PSU that has a well known and tested brand name like Antec, Enermax or PC Power and Cooling. This sits in the same price range, still has enough wattage to run CrossFire with ease, and comes with a 5 year warranty(from a company that usually has 24 hour turn around time on RMAs). I'd also pick the 7850 2GB over the 6870 - it's gonna run cooler, will be a bit faster all around, has 2G of RAM which is becoming rather useful for a lot of newer games, supports DX 11.1 and WDDM 1.2, and will have better future driver support since it's built with AMD CGN. I'd spend the extra $15 and get this HDD which will give you SATA 6G(Bit a moot point since the board you picked is a B75 - only a single 6G port on that chipset), features double the cache, and a is a current drive(all of the 1.5TB HDD have been dropped from production).

  5. I'd say that Greece is far more complex than just tax evasion, like the fact that Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan and other banks allowed them to borrow 'off the books' covering their true debt from the EU. Their national debt doubled in something like a decade. What I find sad is the fact that the Golden Dawn party is rising in power holding something like 18 seats in parliament and have a strong presence in the police force - and the Golden Dawn party is a straight up fascist neo-nazi group. Just what Greece, the EU, and the world needs.

  6. Hey Biggs, no Gohome plugins, and the /plugin command no longer functionse. Not sure if the update removed it or bukkit is broken, as the /help doesn't show help for CoreProtect or GoHome

  7. Let me clarify because I do not have the time to verify and confirm each of your unsupported assertions. The United States does not go into a country and overthrow the government just for the sake of overthrowing the government. There may have been bad decisions made and mistakes made but as a whole, we are a good country.

They're not 'unsupported' assertions, they're our history. I'm not your teacher, and if you're interested in the subjects I'd suggest you read. Much of it can be found right on the CIA's and FBI's websites thanks to the Church Committee and the FOIA act. Here is a link to the original Church Committee reports but most of that focus on things like MkUltra(The CIA secretly dosing US citizens with LSD as part of a mind control experiment), COINTELPRO(FBI Illegal surveillance and infiltration of political groups), or 'Family Jewels'(the CIA version of COINTELPRO). You can find the section specific to CIA covert action in Chile here. The CIA's FOIA site is here, the FBI's is here. If you wanna read about American government sponsored coups I'd suggest starting with this, which was compiled from FOIA requests by GWU's National Security Archives and covers the 1953 Iranian coup which has seriously shaped the modern middle east. The National Security Archives has thousands of other documents related to many things, many hours spent there. Your education is up to one person - you, not me.

Do we really want to harken back to 2003 and Iraq? It's easy to forget and ignore 911 eleven years later, isn't it. It's easy to pretend we - the U.S. - along with numerous other nations had intel that he had WMD and chalk this up to Bush being a dictator, isn't it?

I'm not sure what this means with the Bush dictator(that doesn't make any sense), and I won't touch the intelligence or even 'numerous other nations had intel', but I will say we didn't invade Iraq because of 9/11 but rather because of WMD. We invaded Afghanistan to stop the group that was believed to be behind the attack, nothing to do with Iraq. Plus it has nothing to do with my point - if we considered Egypt a stable country prior revolution, then I would consider Iraq a stable country prior to our attack meaning we invaded a stable country.

Individuals in our government may have committed atrocities or played roles in said atrocities but I stand on my previous opinion above that we as a nation are a good and just country. Mistakes are made, there is no denying that.

Individuals are the government. The police, politicians, factory workers, the homeless, the poor and the rich, the weak and the strong, the left and the right all make up our government, and the actions of our government are reflected onto all of us. I did not quantify the past of our nation as good or bad, it is both subjective and irrelevant. The past is exactly that - the past, all we can hope to do with it is to remember and learn from it, hopefully in a way which benefits all of Humanity, not just Americans.
