I want to bring my xbox to FF this year, and i'll have Redeyez bring his also. I'm also going to bring a TV for us to play on. I brought my xbox last year, and quite a few people were excited, but we had no TV.

So, if enough people want, i'll bring itand we can veg out on some Halo 2 Also, if anyone has any requests for some xbox games, just let me know and i'll bring them.

Also, add on my brother, Nipples. He will will be old enough to come finally

How can I have a LAN party or similar event using Steam?

 

Any Steam game, when played on a LAN or otherwise, requires that each individual client be able to authenticate via the Internet.

 

At a LAN party, this means that Internet access must be available to every machine on which Steam games are being played.

 

If desireable, the network administrator of such an event can limit internet access to only the TCP/IP ports which Steam needs. These are:

 

UDP 1200

UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive

TCP 27030 to 27039 inclusive

 

 

At large events, it will be necessary for each attendee to let their games fully update before attending to avoid taxing the shared internet connection with too much content delivery.

This is off the Steam page. By next year Steam will be required to play CS. So might wanna be sure we can get internet access. i think this is stupid

Was a hot, sticky, buggy weekend, and everyone stayed cool, followed all the rules of the place, and nobody got hurt (Even though someone almost ended up in the fire Sat night.)

Yea, we had a huge toast to bob_lee. He was in my thoughts all weekend. But we all know wherever he is he was watching on and was happy we all had such a good time.

And i blame him for all the comptuer problems

That version will automatically run the RAM tests, Mobo tests, and i think USB tests. However it will test everything in a sysytem hardware wise. We just have it setup to run what we need here at work on all the new systems
