Not going to say who, but Swamp Fever was changed to upon request. The campaign is no longer on the rotation so if the plugin can't find the last map that it's currently on, it won't know what to change it to, so it will just repeat.

how about modifying the plugin? If it can't find the map its on go to a default one

Last I checked this was a "defend cake" forum. And im just saying this is not the right place to play if you have temper issues and can't not insult people

Think what you will, say what you want.. but the fact is.. as was said earlier in replies.. it is a legitimate kick.. most people on the team (80 to 90% of them) were not ready.. some, myself included, not fully even loaded in.. and there goes rambo.. aka Paroxym or whatever it is.. did I use language that was very inappropriate? Yes.. and I appologized for that.. and am AGAIN.. as I have appologized for what was said to Cake.

 

However, I stand by the kick.. and if you admins and others who support those admins, would spend less time worrying about what I say.. instead of what happened.. perhaps things would be cleared up.

 

I admit I have a temper from time to time.. and no, I don't "rage when things don't go my way", I have played through several times with a bunch of players that were clueless.. trying to teach them how to use the dang menu.. so, don't go there Cake.. again.. not having the knowledge, but spitting words.. anyway.. I have no love lost for Cake or Paroxsym? whatever.. I have completely blocked you both, as I have nothing left to say to you.

 

I simply am sick and tired of certain people getting away with things that they shouldn't because some admins show favoritism.. period. You know who you are.

 

And I am sorry.. I have been on the team WITH admins that scream at the people who open the door before others are ready.. and threaten to kick them.. so, you all better have a little pow-wow and decide what the rules really are.. and make them apply to everyone... not just who you pick and choose.. I swear.. someone that pays $5 a month to belong to a server assumes they are God.

So you are saying cake is an abusive admin because she vetoed your kick? Well I would have done the same, especially if it was paroxy or jason. They are both experienced players and know what they are doing.... sometimes people exit the safe room to cover spawn, its completelty legitimate. The problem is when they run out of the safe room and keep running. People have different admin styles. Depending on the level, players and admin a kick for rushing or veto may change from one situation to the next. Either way this gives you no right to insult others. I don't care if you have anger issues, if you cant control them then maybe you shouldn't be playing video games.

As far as favoritism I don't see any problem not kicking someone for leaving the saferoom early if you know who they are and you know they don't rush

I don't see where cake is an abusive admin. Seeing as how you were insulting other players and kicking people before someone has a chance to explain how the server works sounds like you were being an a*hole. Admins are human too and if you insult us and tinkle us off we will react defensively like anyone else would. Its not like she joined and starting cussing people out for no reason like you did.

Also she didn't say it to your face, she used it as the reason for the kick which tells other admins to watch for you because you are an a*hole. Not the best language but it works.

Wait, one second I didnt say anything about ------------- or calling anyone a rag i call shenanigans of you good sir i made no comment on any sexual based orientation the only comments i made were this name was kosher and that no one was offended didnt know butthurt offended people, if it did thats a shame ah well its life cant please everyone, im abit nicer then that so herpa derpa.

There may have been some homophobic slurs in there also, and think about what "butthurt" refers to....

Anyway ban was changed back to non-perm and will expire soon, please be careful about insulting others. As for the name the vote resulted in some people being offended and even -most-wanted vocalized this, the vote wasn't about a majority opinion. I personally don't have any beef with the name but I had that "admin instinct" of "hey maybe people are offended".

I am a bisexual and a huge ally to the lgbtqa community. Homophobic/homo-degrading comments are the easiest way to get me to perma-ban you.

I was the admin who banned you.

What happened was I was unsure if the name offended people so I asked via a vote. It was not because I am an antisemite, I was just being careful.

If your name was offensive I would have simply renamed you. The ban came because you made inappropriate comments over voice chat after I initiated the vote. I meant to go in and update the ban details but did not get around to it until this morning and here are the details

Admin asked other players if "Bill Rye The Jewish Guy" was offensive, no need to ban if nobody was offended (just to be safe). After asking said user accused admin of being an anti-semite then made homophobic comments towards admin over voice chat. ie: You like sucking d**** f**

That is why I banned you then changed it to a permanent ban

Oh man I've had this same issue before when I use to run halo servers and I wanted to change stats.

People will either hate it or love it,

They will hate it because they have worked hard for their rank

They will love it because it gives people a chance to climb to the top

Personally I am ok with it, I am not that good anyway so my rank doesn't mean a lot to me

Maybe we could just lock down the teams and no one can switch. Then when numbers are imbalanced an admin can scramble/even them out? Unfortunately it will never be 100% even because people get so mad while playing this game that they rage.

Well you should play more often i think. Just last night we had a game going, and I had to switch 3 times to keep the teams even. Other people also switched more than once to keep them even in numbers.

@jackie as you mentioned there isn't an easy way to control who spawns as what... maybe you could do something with one of the class variables instead of doing the straight up spawn command. That could also help keep track of how many tanks we have?

That concerns me.... why would you need a timer? I can see you have some issues with hooking heal events, I suppose a timer is the best option but it seems like there should be something better.

The !votescramble should be made, IF it passes (And not the starting campaign scramble) that !survivors, !infected AND !afk/!spectator (Unless Admin) should become locked, further when the server detects afker it would boot them instead of pushing them to !spectator so they couldn't cheat and switch. If this is possible then the timer for the !votescramble would need to be increased so people dont use it as a griefing tool.

I have mentioned this multiple times, something really needs to be done. Unfortunately we need to wait till jackie gets back from real life to do anything.

In the mean time feel free to message any admin online when this happens and let them know whats up
