One of the stock plugins was preventing the server from seeing it, so disabling it make the server actually find them and I was able to join the server.

Fortunately I have Windows 7, so the solution was much simpler when I made this mistake, I was able to just restore my bin to a version before I updated.

Wish there was some board-game-like game that you could play on IPB. Always loved board games. Imagine how cool it would be to be able to play something like "The Settlers of Catan" here

I've used this site pretty extensively, it can be really confusing to learn a new game by playing on here because the site is German... but they have almost all of the most popular board games in existence. I love it.

I really don't think it's necessary that admins be clearly identifiable in game, you shouldn't treat an admin any differently than any other player (as Stutters said), or vice versa. It may have been hard to tell that I was an admin because I have been ceding most admin powers to the more knowledgeable admins.

They pitted console gamers with their "console" controller, against PC gamers with their keyboard and mouse.

 

The console players got destroyed every time.

I've always wondered how console players would do playing against PC gamers... this is pretty much what I expected...
