I used to "COLDSTREAM" every time Maestro would ask for a new map suggestion once the server rebooted. That was before Jackies awesome "Random Map after Restart" patch.

BTW, server stability has really improved in the past 3 weeks.

As for Guild stuff, what can I do as mainly a soloer to help that out? Achieves? Map completions? What gets us rep or whatever we need?

Flesh Golems rule. Got mine last night and it has revolutionized the game for me as Necro. This really needs to be a lvl 20 or earlier pet. I almost quit Necro because its so squishy.

That door is weird to begin with. Infected can't pass through it in ghost form. Makes setup a pain.

Essentially, you're just questing as usual and a message will pop up saying there's an event in the area. It will show up on your map. It somehow measures your participation in it and awards you a gold, silver, or bronze medal for it. Bad thing is, it repeats.... often. At least that's my take on it.

As for as your personal story quest line, it uses instancing to keep you separate from gen pop while doing your own quest chain.

I started my character on a new server THEN free transferred to Blackgate.

Oh, I'm sure its something I've screwed up. Would it matter than I'm running the x64 client?

Yeah, I've tried everything and it still won't authenticate. I'm just using my forum name as the user and putting the pass in the password field on the server setup.. Using that IP and port. It says server is available and that it connects, just that my username and password are incorrect and it can't authenticate. oh well.

See people... This is why we can't have nice things.
