  1. Also, if I do add Jimmy Gibbs hordes, I'm thinking only like...5 will spawn given how strong they are.  I'll test out the hazmat, riot, and mudmen hordes first, then think about adding more of the others.  Thanks for the feedback so far guys.

I might change it instead of all 3 being able to be purchased at the time to one at a time because last night when I was testing it, I wasn't sure if I was noticing if they were all spawning.  All 3 types would appear and  run at the Survivors, but not sure if 25 of each uncommon type actually spawned in or not.  I can test it out in the main servers to see if you guys can notice it, but if not, it can be changed.

  3. Since the consensus seems to be making hordes more expensive, hordes will cost 15 points next update.

     

    I've already coded in riot and mud men into the plugin, but it's not uploaded to the server yet.  The update will allow players to purchase them separately, so you could potentially see hazmat and riot hordes running around at the same time.  All 3 can be purchased at once for a more fearful horde.

  4. Update v2.4.1.2gc:

     

    Introducing Fireproof Hordes!

     

    Now you can actually buy a horde that has use (they're guaranteed to spawn now as well)!

     

    Fireproof Hordes are just simply Hazmat zombies.  It will spawn in 25 of them per purchase and can only be purchased one horde at a time.  They also will NOT have bile jars attached to them (thanks DAlighieri for catching that).  They will also be stronger than your average zombie with 150 health instead of the game's default 50. 

     

    They will still cost 10 points which, based on feedback, may be subject to change.

     

    Horde purchase variation may happen down the road.

  5. It's just a panic event, like when it's quiet, and then you hear that horn sound effect and about 25 zombies come running out of nowhere at you.

     

    I think I should just remove it from the buy menu...

  6. I will discuss amongst the other board members on what disciplinary action needs to be taken against the player involved.  Such language is not tolerated here.

     

    Also, Carlos, you need to replace your sh*tty computer.

  7. Last time you were banned was in April.  Our system primarily uses a client's Steam ID for banning.  Running your IP address does not return anything in Sourcebans.

     

    Logs don't show anything either.

     

    Can you provide a screenshot saying you were IP banned?

  8. Update:

    -Added Emergency Escape option to the buy menu.  Cost is 10 points and it's located in the "Upgrades" menu.  When purchased, it activates immediately upon getting pinned, or if you are already pinned it will instantly kill the SI currently pinning you.  Survivors do NOT receive points for this happening.  Give feedback in the other topic on whether or not it should stay.

One of the server's extensions is able to do this, which I used to also have respawns count toward defib counts and adjust the score accordingly.  It'd be kind of hard to make something balanced in this regard because costs of things could potentially cost nothing...and the number of buy menu items would cover about half?  Probably a percentage would be better?

  10. Touching the Tank's initial health and healing cost along with cost changes per limit would throw people off.  I think they should be left alone unless you can think of an alternative.
