I'd be curious on the numbers too. Judging from the CSS launch date of 2004, apparently Scopeless only lasted 3 years. The days of old 1.6 though... Man, I still remember the game's old menu...using a WONid instead of a SteamID.
L4D2 on the other hand, albeit it's smaller playerbase from the get-go, has been around for 7+ years (stat tracking 6 years ago).

I'll implement this as a temporary change to see what people will think of it. It'll probably be like a few day test to see the reaction to it sometime soon. I'll make a post in the update thread when it goes live.

What if it can only be used within a certain radius of another Survivor player(s)? Like an example: 3 Survivors go to open the door in No Mercy 3, but all 3 get pinned and the rest of the team is waiting for the door to be opened. By the time their team gets there, the 3 of them will be dead.
Or in another situation where 2 people are ahead spawn blocking, one gets pinned and the other person near them just plain doesn't notice what's going on?
This is good guys, give detailed feedback on why you think or don't think it would work. Ultimately, you guys are controlling whether or not it gets implemented.

Not really without deviating too far from the "vanilla" mentality. Possibly just points per damage and/or higher damage outputs for certain Infected.

I would limit it like the fireworks, maybe once per round though. You don't want to encourage rushers.
I don't think the survivor should get any points, or if they do, it is offset by the cost of the unpin.
If we do this, it should be for all the pinnable infected (hunter, charger, jockey and smoker)

Was thinking, what would you guys think of a once per round purchase of an "Emergency Unpin"? Would probably cost 10 points for Survivors, and would allow them to get unpinned from an Infected player only once in the round. It'd be a very situational item and meant to be used in those life-or-death situations. I was thinking of having it be the cost of a heal, but 10 points seems like a balanced point value and could be played around with.
Thoughts?

I'll upload all the campaigns to #2 tonight to make sure they're all up to date. They may have been updated since I last uploaded them.Is diescraper fixed? I remember last time it wouldn't let people onto the server. If it is, that's my vote for what we should play.

Definetly would like to see VIP at least on weekend nights.
I agree. I'd love to see custom maps back in a specific time slot again or at least hold a vote on Friday/Saturday for it. I'd be totally down for doing VIP and/or pathing regularly. I can't even remember the last time I played either.
I think a more regular/frequent VIP/pathing and/or custom map event would help keep things fresh.
Feel free to organize it.

I've always liked you Carlos...I mean, I made you into a boss in my GC RPG even.
I really am sorry that it came to this. What I said before I left was unneccesary and harsh. The right decision for me would've been to leave the game right away once the round ended, and pretend that none of those unfortunate shenanigans occurred during our round.
Please keep that in mind when frustrations reach a tipping point. The doors are open for you.

Tank Limit Idea
in Left 4 Dead 2
Kind of tossing this idea around:
Tank limits at the start of the round begin at 1/1. Tanks at this point will cost 40 points.
Upon a Tank limit increase, Tanks will cost 50 points for Tanks limits of 2/2.
Upon another Tank limit increase, Tanks will cost 60 points of limits of 3/3.
Thoughts?
Again, nothing is final unless people think it's a good idea and I announce it.
