I've never played this game before, so I hope I enjoy them even though they are a bit dated.  Seeing that everyone says it's the best game ever, I think $2.49 justifies me buying it and playing it.  Feel free to provide any tips or hints that might help me in my quest.

I just realized something.  I went to change my roster up a bit, and realized every player not owned is on waivers......WHY?  I've never seen a league use this option.  No Free Agents??

Well, I guess he really needed the money, so he gave me one last opportunity to buy it at $200.  I took it.  Now I just have to resell it.  I'm gonna try and craigslist it for $400.

Ya you won this.  Everyone's scores that were high the last couple weeks were really low this week. 

So a buddy of mine wanted to sell a dell xps 9100 with few upgrades.  He upgraded from 8 to 12 GB RAM, added a 120GB solid state HDD, office professional, and it comes with an intel i7 2.8 GHz cpu and an ATI Radeon 5670.

I turned down the sale when I got him to lower it to $275.  I was hoping to flip it for something higher, but since I'm low on cash, I didn't want to risk it.  Do you think I would have been able to resell it for more?

What is up with all these crazy high scores everyone is getting!?  This is my 2nd week in a row with over 140 pts.  I see others are over 120 and 130.  This is nuts.

True, any decent internet connection while living in western US will not be the source of your lag connecting to a Chicago server.

I totally missed the draft, but luckily I set up my pre-draft rankings.  Even though I got the second worst score, i still feel it's a pretty good team!

Phew!  Glad that was finally taken care of...and only 4 days before the season starts!

Who decided to join right before the draft?

I wanted to see if we could change the roster positions to include a RB/WR position so we don't have 6 benches.  It'll add a bit more depth to the matchups since we only have 6 players.  Also, are there two more ppl willing to join?

Ya I guess you could say this is my H1Z1 spurt.  One thing I wanted to discuss was video cards and if anyone monitors their temps?  During H1Z1 my card can peak at over 90C, and on average it stays around 80-86C with the fans on full blast (I run MSI afterburner to boost the fans since the auto-fan function doesn't seem to work as well).  I have two GTX 570s in SLI.  I've disabled SLI recently as well as updated the drivers since the difference in temps between the two cards seems to be making my primary card twitch out a bit.  I don't have that issue now, but the temp issue is still a problem.  I even run the game in low settings and still a no go.  I can't seem to find where to disable shadows, but that's my next move.  I watch a streamer on Twitch and he runs the game with no shadows.  Seems to give him an edge since he can see people in bushes better.
 

Also I've won 5 BRs so far.  The cheaters are becoming fewer and fewer thank goodness (at least on BR mode).

That no one but me plays this anymore.  All I do is play Battle Royal, and now that team BRs exist, I have yet to get anyone else to play with me.  Everyone that used to play H1Z1 is so focused on CS:GO, and some people don't respond to me when I ask if they want to play. 

I doubt Facepalm will show....he hasn't logged in to the GC site since July 2nd.

How many players are on the 2nd league?  We only have 3 total on the other league.  Maybe some could come over?  I mean, I don't want people just to hop over to fill spots and that's it.  I'm kind of competitive and don't want this to be a deserted league just because we had random "fillers".

TbT, how many ppl are in your league now?  Did that end up filling up?  There's only 2 others in the one I joined.

If league 1 doesn't form, could you invite any of us into league 2?

A couple weeks later of playing nearly every night and I got another win!  I had so many top 10s and 5s, but most of the time I'm playing against teams of 3 or more.

I PMd Facepalmsmash...hopefully he gets an email and reads it.  he hasn't been on since the beginning of the month.
