  1. So H1Z1 introduced the new Flying Car after this last patch!

Hackers were running rampant last night.  Needless to say no one got banned that game.  Also you couldn't shoot them because the bullets looked like they were hitting an invisible wall before they reached the jeep.I still made it to 4th place, and 2nd place twice....out of 10 attempts.

  2. Thank you guys.  I appreciate the just reason.  I'll notify Chick or Tirtul once a week or so has passed.  I may take a break for a tad bit until my H1Z1 fix has been satiated.

I appreciate the time and effort you have put into looking into this.

  3. This was a message between one of the board members and I, and he suggested I post this to give Tirtul a better understanding of what my intentions were:

SInce I knew he was afk, I knew he wouldn't spawn back in time to grab his dropped stuff before it disappeared.  So I grabbed all the important stuff (armor and tools) and even cleared some of my own inventory in order to do that.  Once I saw him at my base, I went to my chest and grabbed his stuff (fyi I had better armor and tools than him, so I had no need for his stuff).  Afterward he killed me...I spawned, grabbed his stuff again, and then when I went searching for him (i guess he was flying around in creative mode invisible), I got banned.

I hadn't mentioned this before because I was a bit caught off-guard when I found out he was an admin, but when I was looking at dynmap, I saw some person's name I didn't recognize...they never responded in chat as well.  Once I got to where that person was in the map, I noticed it was tirtul's base (I had visited before).  I could have sworn up and down Tirtul's minecraft name was tirtul.  Basically I thought this guy was looting/building traps...because he was behind some walls next to Tirtul's chests.  That is the real reason I killed him.  I gave him a couple hits to see if he'd run around, but nope.  I wanted to know who he was, which is why I kept his stuff around for him.

Yes, I did know killing wasn't allowed since I read the rules when Tirtul posted them, but I remember back in the day we could kill someone if we saw someone looting someone else's stuff.

Also I just realized how stupid I was that I just didn't throw stuff in one of Tirtul's chests, and let tirtul handle that person...if that wasn't him already.

FYI the missing stuff that disappeared was consumables like string, eyeballs, stone...maybe 1 iron ore block, redstone....that kind of stuff.

I really do apologize Tirtul.  Any time I play with GC members, I always hold them in the highest regard.  I treat them with as much respect as I would like to be treated.  This is one of the reason I was looking for Clash of Clans players; one of the reasons I hoped I could help get enthusiasm for a Team Fortress 2 server run by GC, and for minecraft to become fun and popular again.

I hope that we can just put this behind us and play some games again.  I don't like it when there's animosity between people who should be friends and co-gamers.

  4. Then I'm done.  I'm not starting over because you felt I griefed you.  I can understand the frustration that was caused, but deleting my stuff and destroying my base goes beyond fair.  I don't see anyone being banned in L4D2 AND having their stats removed.  I feel this needs to be bumped to a board member.

    Edit:

Also i was only banned twice from L4D2...once because I used the boomer glitch when it wasn't bannable (I logged in after the warning was given out that it was bannable), and the other time i was banned for rushing.  In that situation we talked, and I told you I had just logged in and was banned about 20 sec later because I logged into a bot that followed the rushers or booted some other player that was not a member.  You unbanned me even though it was for 15 min.  So please don't reference stuff that happened over 2 years ago.  That statement you made about my bans does not reflect my character.

  5. I was banned from minecraft because I killed an afk player.  Apparently it was an admin but I'm not sure who that admin is.  His minecraft name is anubysx, I .  He asked why I killed him, I said it was because he was afk for hours and I got bored and killed him.  I saved his important gear like his tools and armor so that I could give it back when he respawned.

I apologized on the server when I was talking to him, and he asked why he shouldn't ban me, I stated I helped get enthusiasm into the minecraft server again when I started playing.  I said I was the one who mentioned to upgrade to spigot and get some addons back on.

If I'm reinstated, i promise not to kill anyone again.  I was also accused of griefing, but I tore down 2 blocks to find him and get him.  I wouldn't call that griefing, but I apologize for wrecking his home like that.  If I'm not reinstated, so be it, but I was really looking forward to playing with you guys again.

  6.  I have found a solution!!!

I talked to a level 2 rep from cox, and after some troubleshooting, he had me type in this in the command prompt (running it as administrator):

    netsh winsock reset

After that, restart the PC and BOOM all of a sudden everything worked. I suggest anyone having the G99 issue try this. One thing to note is that I had to bypass my router temporarily to find out if this was related to the router or not. The rep suggested that I still try port forwarding for this game since this could also cause an issue connecting to the servers.

Update:  I went through my router and all is well.  The game finally works.

  7. Are you able to find the mod for claims?  That way people cannot change what's inside someone else's claim?  I'm not sure what mcmmo is, but if it's helpful, go for it!  The only three things I was ever concerned with was /home, dynmap and claims.

  8. idk if this will work but found this thread:

    https://forums.station.sony.com/h1z1/index.php?threads/game-error-g99.2228/

Ya I've tried that.  Everything the OP showed was actually what's stated on the website that brings me to the G99 error.  I've set my router so that my computer is demilitarized, and I made sure that my anti-virus had those 3 programs set as exceptions, not to mention I set them all to run as administrator.  Still no luck.  Daybreak games is a pretty bad group for letting stuff like this become an issue.  Granted it's not affecting a lot of people, but for the ones that have this issue, the game is useless now.

  9. So I was having this issue late last night around 2AM AZ time. My client had updated since I had not played in a while. Once it was done, I opened the game in Steam, the launchpad came up, I hit play, and waited.

The game just sat at the loading screen where the dude holds the axe, but there was no server menu that popped up. Eventually the game shut down and a web page opened up saying:
    "Game Error G99"

    So here's what I did:

    1) I tried verifying my game files. After it was completed, it said 1 file was going to be replaced. I never saw a download for it.

    2) I reopened the game, same situation as before occurred.

    3) I tried step 1 and 2 one more time, same error.

    4) I completely uninstalled my game, restarted my computer, and reinstalled the game. Once I restart the game, same error.

    5) I thought maybe the update was occurring (since the H1Z1 twitter said it was happening at around 5AM), so I waited till tonight to log in.

    6) I tried logging in again, same result as before, error G99.

I have no clue what could be causing this since I had not changed anything since I last played (around March). Any help would be much appreciated!

  10. I vote no.  The last server wipe I went though sorta ruined everything for me.  I think a majority of us who used to play on the old old server quit playing because of it.  I think we need something more than just a server wipe to get things interesting on this server again.  I agree with crasx that if we had something like achievements or ranks, that would be fun.

  11. been super busy this whole week.... didnt even have time to get much sleep, I will have a look into it come next weekend

Not to pester or anything, but it's now 15 days later.  Any word on this?  I just think it's sorta boring playing on a dead server when we know mods will bring back the players.

  12. How does that game work? I've been meaning to check it out

You start off as a small village and the tutorial shows you how to buy stuff and place them, and so on.  As you build more elixir and gold (from mines that are purchased and built - no money) you can build more stuff or build an army to attack other bases for their loot.  When your stuff is maxed out at your level you can upgrade your town hall to the next level, which allows you to get more items and level those up.  The town halls range from 1 - 10.  As you go up every town hall level, it takes longer and longer to get all your stuff upgraded.  I'm a Town Hall 8 and I've been playing nearly every day since October 2014.  I know some ppl who are TH 10 that have been playing over a year or two.

Anyways, its very fun, but even more fun when you play with others you know.  When you form a clan, you can participate in Clan Wars which allow you to compete against another clan.  You attack the other clans villages and based on how destroyed the base is, you get 1, 2 or 3 stars.  The clan with the most stars at the end of the war wins all their bonus loot.

  13. SO I've been playing this game for a while, and I find it pretty fun.  My only problem is the people I play it with.  I joined a clan because I had 1 friend I knew in person from 10 years ago.  Long story short, this clan is a nightmare.  I'm to the point now where I'm not interested in staying with them any longer because it's run by children with big mouths...literally.  The kids are in their early teens, and the leader of the clan (no clue of his age) lets them dictate how things run (he's no relation to them, but a few of the kids are brothers).

Needless to say, they are actually good players and have been playing for a while, but I'm used to a community where certain rules are laid out so that there is no conflict of interest.  GC definitely seems to run under those rules, so I had an epiphany!

How about a GC-based Clash of Clans group??

How many of you play?  How would we set up leadership in the clan?  If this is a possibility, can we set up a CoC forum?

Anyways, before I leave this clan, I'd just like to get everyone's thoughts on this if you play and if we have enough to start a clan?  The bigger the clan, the better!

  14.

If you buy a new skin in HotS, you can actually have a small impact on the players around you if they deem your skin a product of your skill, and not your wallet.  On the other hand, the new skin in hearthstone won't really change gameplay at all since it's not earned with skill.

Long story short, I think Blizz has become something that I don't like with other pay-to-win game companies.

That does not make any sense. The skins in HotS do nothing for gameplay.

Read what I typed again.  The different skins CAN affect game-play because when some people see a hero walking around with a Master skin, they will run away from it or avoid that confrontation in that battle in case it was earned by skill rather than money.  I've seen it before in that game.  So yes, it can affect game-play.
