So I'm going to be trying to make it up there weds night for some additional events and what not.. just wanted to see if there was anyone i could room with or what my options were, i know some people bailed and are now without roomies so let me know!

 

 

Myself and Chamber are rooming together we could get a rollaway bed or you could just crash on the floor or just cuddle with Chamber! I can also bring a sleeping bag for ya. Let me know.

Oh yea BTW.... I snore heavily If you are not the first one asleep your not getting any sleep. hehe

If you bring guns and keep them in the rooms we need to make sure there are no legal implications there.

I will have my wii wii with me along with my rockband/guitar hero peripherals. I think my bro was planning on bringing his 360 with said peripherals as well. I can double check with him. Windex, I'd say use the tentative schedule on the website as a guide and then run what you come up with by Fatty, Mini, or myself and we'll get it finalized. Probably best to have something nailed down by this evening or early tomorrow as far as tournies are concerned.

Well...I never thought I would do it again, but here I am...I bought her a nice ring last week, she accepted, and we will be Mr and Mrs Clueless later this summer. We arent gonna wait too long because we are gonna pump out a couple units before we get too old....dont wanna be in the nursing home when they are graduating high school, lol.

I thought everything went well with the exception of a few things, but that was to be expected. As far as the sound that has a lot of room for improvement I will deffently bring both amps next year. I will also try and have my karaoke system up and running if anyone wants to embar.....um... I mean honor us with a song.

I would like to also thank everyone that stayed on sunday and helped with tear down. I can only recall one person that was not on the staff that was a tremendous help. Thanks E-ward. If there was anyone else im sorry i dont remember. I BLAME THE ALCOHOL!!!!

And thanks again to everyone that put all this together i.e the organization, food, swag, tourneys, the hardware, and the software side.

If anyone wants also check flights going into Akron Canton Airport (CAK) sometimes they can be cheaper. Also I can come at pick ppl up if they need it.

As to the 18 end of things - how do other groups do this at their LAN parties (or don't they)?

Any thought on allowing under 18 folks for a specific period of time (like a curfew of 11PM or 12AM)?

As to the, "No one under the age of 18 unless accompanied by a parent who is gaming." I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with are the ones under 18 without parents, because we shouldn't have to moderate and watch those minors with all the alchohol around.

As to those 18-20 they are legaly considered adults and should be responsible enough to conduct themselves in a mature manor. I am not condoning the drinking of those who are 18-20 but an occasional drink is not a problem with me as long as they do it responsibly and don't get carried away.

Sorry to those who where under age and didn't drink but it takes just one to ruin it for the rest.

Thanks Fatty and the entire GC crew. As other people have all ready said this wouldn't have happend without ALL of your hard work and dedication.
