    1up for "inmediately request a map vote"

    -its a lag map for me

    -its almost completly horizontal, cant creep down or up on survivors

    -half full of bots at most times so you cant hide behind branches or bushes

    -too much water -ign

    -it always kills the server

    this is how i feel when i have to rush the first 3 maps on a dead sever just so more people get in/i can play another campaign.

     

     

    if the server doesnt die and people want to play it, im cool whit it, it also gets more visualy enjoyable whit these 2 mods:

    ALSO, why do people dislike crash course? and why was it that cold tream isnt in the map rotation?

    what about getting a free laser after 15/20 laser-less headshots in game?

    or becoming a useless tank sized jokey for getting 100 joyrides? ...too silly?

     

    ...can negative gravity be done in game? like the moment you so much as stop touching the ground you fly off the map? would make for some hilariously OP death charges.

    you must have joined a new steam group or something, thats where you get them from AFAIK.

     

    i have like a thousand from joining a bunch of unrelated l4d groups, sadly, they dont go away after you leave the groups

    what lookback said. if they are unwilling to read the chat, take even 1 minute to reply or even less to type in "ok" they are beyond help.

     

    a good idea to counter shopping is to follow them around and constantly berate them tell them to move up and to stop wandering off.

    custom just killed server 2 lol

     

    Saturday night is my wedding anniversary.  I think it is 23 years or something, which is 92 in husband years.  I believe I have to go out to dinner or something.  Maybe another admin can step up and offer to run something.  I might be on, but cant commit

    L4D2 player/member commands list, & BINDS

    the botton below ESC opens the console, but only in 'murican keyboards...

     

    first of all, enable "Developer Console" in your options.

     

    if it doesnt, right click on l4d2 on your steam game's list and go to properties, then on the "general" tab pick "set launch options"

    type: -console, click ok, and then open the game, the console should open when you enter the main menu, bind toogleconsole right away

     

    i recomend making and autoexec.cfg file on the \Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg folder instead of binding the comands trough console, its easier to modify/reconfigure in case you mess it up, i think. read the thread for tips on that.

     

    you can also type -novid on "set launch options" so the game doesnt play neither of the intro vids everytime you open it.

    aside from johny and maybe dixie, i cant diferentiate voices, it may be because im not a native english speaker :/

     

    also, hitting !sp-bind, 1 and then 2, is still way faster than typing it out.

    The problem: Buying smoker limit when tank unannounce is vital.

      Asking for scramble unreasonably.

    i only sugest scramble when either team takes a beating of 500 or more points (safe room bonus not counting)

     

     

    a couple of tips, hug the walls near death charge spots (be mindfull of railings tho...) and walk on props like cars and furniture.

    Our servers are welcome to all new players.  As a member of GC, but especially as an admin, you are the ones that should do the welcoming.  We should teach new people the buy system, teach them the strategies we have mutually developed and we should have patience with them.  This is what we are about.  Also, players will eventually stop playing, that is inevitable.  New people eventually become the replacements for the ones that stop playing.  It is silly to chase them away.

     

    I do not appreciate hearing negative comments in the servers or in forums about new players.   I was just in the server and didn't like the comments from the members and admins, about the new players in there.  This is a reminder and a warning about that.

    crap, that was me a few hours ago.

    i keept raging on this 3xit guy for opening tank door on passing early and skiping it. and also erlier on dead air.

    went the whole match whithout taking damage, it was stacked as hell, but still.

    Do you really want to play with potential cheaters again?

     

    even though i just use meele re-skins and infected vision recolor fix i would risk it.

    getting to see the maps whithout the orange/blue vision realy adds a lot of fun for me.

     

    i can only imagine that those that use skins for every litle thing miss them even more.

    thats probably a client side issue.. Have you been able to reproduce it?

    its the first time i see anything like that in the game, i dont even know what could had caused it, couldnt had been addons. aside from updating the new custom manualy i havent messed whit that in ages, nor any external programs.

     

    if it happens again i'll screncap the console log
