Words cannot describe how much I dislike this invincible charger tactic getting used when you're on the receiving end of those attacks. It's cheap and annoying as hell. I wish there was a dramatic boost in price for charger heals, so that way nobody will have to deal with these invincible-like chargers from being used as if it were a tank (except it punches slower than a charger).

 

YES NERF CHARGERS AND NERF HUNTERS WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!!!1      JK just pay attention and buy a melee weapon or shoot at the head. If a whole team is focusing on a charger and it's not dying that charger is losing points like crazy, not even worth it in my opinion unless you're going after a black and white.

So, I've been giving it a bit of thought.  Along with being able to play a wider variety of custom campaigns as well, I was thinking about re-enabling addons for a week and seeing how it plays out on Server 2.

Last night when I was doing some DM missions, people would disappear from my screen. I saw a person go down some stairs, then when I looked out the window to shoot at them, they were there for a second, then *POOF!*, vanished lol. Happened twice to me last night.

 

 

Same thing happened to me yesterday, I just assumed he respawned, though. 

I can't stand the new knife sounds. It sounds like you're mining something in one of those survival games.

How did she get it to work? Just lucky for one time or can mac users play with certain addons? I don't understand lol 

I just tried the server, it seems like all the addons I tried worked, he said that some UI and vocalize addons didn't work though. Oh well. Maybe it's just a problem with his game and they didn't block certain addons.

or maybe, people are just getting bored of the game itself. same tactics, same routes, same guns, same scenery, same chokepoints....

Maybe that's why people miss addons so much. The game is so bland with no addons. Even something simple like character skins and cooler looking weapons can make it more enjoyable.

I would trade a couple people using hunter mods and other "cheats"  to have addons back. People will always have an advantage in games, whether it be fps, ping, refresh rate, or just natural ability. As long as they aren't using a wallhack or aimbot I don't see the big deal.

Also, one of my friends said that he plays on a server that has a whitelist. I know you guys said that it's not possible but maybe there is a way that none of us know about. That would be pretty cool if it worked out, you could just block the addons that give you a slight advantage. 

"Blu" was using aimbot in the l4d2 server.

You can clearly see the aimbot in the demo. Also, Chimichanga, General, David Sulkers, and a few more witnessed it. He also has 3 VAC bans on record. 

whats sad is no one will send points even if you type it out, or theyll be biased and send to only their favorite person leaving others to die

I will always send points to incapped players if they type it and I have enough. Even if I don't have enough I will usually send them all I have. 

I recognize who's talking almost every time but it still helps when people type it out so I can just press my bind and it sends points for me. Obviously pressing 1 key to send points is a lot easier than typing !sp player 15, especially when I'm trying to run from a tank or shoot. 

It all seems like common sense

I've always thought about joining, but haven't because I'm pretty new to the game and would most likely get rekt. 

What happens when one guy gets charged really far back like out a window but survives. This guy is now throwing off the numbers substantially. Will the entire team be marked for rushing or what? 

 

Also sometimes a team may be getting completely destroyed and they know there is no hope for them so they let one or two mains rush. Will these people be kicked by it or not?

Give the admins some credit, they aren't morons. I don't think they will just ban someone because a teammate got charged back. I'm sure they will check the situation before banning. I think this is just a good way to tell them the name of the rushers. 

I had graphics related issues like that not too long ago and then my GPU died.

Honestly, I wish we could buy an upgrade to increase the likelihood of a boomer infection.  That would be a good use of 20 points.

Only 20 points? Can you imagine during huge tank battles? If you get infected the tank will only go after you and there's no way to heal while you're getting smacked around. If something like this gets implemented it should be well thought out.
