Uh, and semi-on topic... I used Linux last year for all the programming I did... which didn't really involve using Linux much but I played around some with it. It was pretty interesting, but I think I'd agree with ZeroDamage in saying it's not so much an OS for an everyday gamer.

PS - Best of luck to you with Linux and the salvagable part of this thread. Luckily, I only claim rights to messing up one of those.

Actually, I did read all of the posts and what you said reminded me of a comic skit I heard so I tied it into the topic so that maybe somebody might read it, not take it seriously and chuckle. If you think it's offensive, I'm sorry, it wasn't supposed to be. If you think the post wasn't productive in some manner, I'm sorry, maybe somebody else did chuckle to themself. If you thought I was actually trying to rip on you, I don't have a clue what you think I have against you that would make me feel the need to insult you. If there isn't some reason I should be bashing you, maybe I could get a little benefit of doubt here and attribute it to failed humor at worst.

Well, I guess I can see them doing it for time constraint purposes (although, how many other Olympics did not modify it?) but I still think it is too much of a fundamental change (both the net ball and the no side-out one) to the game.

Dude, Linux is a freely downloadable OS.

With an OS-less computer, that's about as helpful as a video on how to set up your TV or a number to call if you have problems setting up your new telephone.

You can run both IDE and SATA at the same time. Set up several systems like that.

 

You want to use any SATA drive as your main drive for your Operating System. Any other drives for data storage, etc.
