  1. I've never owned a ipod or iphone so I'm pretty new to all this stuff. Anyhow I downloaded iTunes i preparation for the iPhone that I plan on picking up tomorrow and wanted to get all my cd's on the computer. So anyhow, every time I try to import a CD into itunes it gets about 80% done then iTunes gets an error and shuts down. Any ideas? Any other ways to get songs onto iTunes?

  2. I would rather know the round I let lose down range even if off is gonna disable the person.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but I don't know how you can ever think that. YOU are responsible for EVERY round that comes from your weapon, if you are a little off...and there are other people around that can be catastrophic and land you in JAIL for years.

  3. Well today I was informed by the USAG (USA Gymnastics) that I've been part of the national staff selected to go to China with our athletes. I won't be doing a whole lot of coaching while I'm there, more behind the scenes stuff with practices, nutrition and other stuff. I'm pretty excited to be going even though I don't think either of my athletes competing at the Olympic trials will make the team (hopefully in 4 more years), but its pretty awesome considering I've only been part of the national coaching staff for a little more than a year.

So who here has actually been to China? Any suggestions would be appreciated!! It looks like I'll have about 2 weeks of free time to do what I want so I would love any help!

  4. its about shot placement not the caliber. The correct ammunition in a 9mm will stop any bad guy coming for you.

For what it is worth, when I took my CCW class the instructor recommended a 45acp for the reason that you don't have time for shot placement when a bad guy is coming at you. In fact we had to fire with out aiming at different ranges at a fast firing rate, which I still do today when I'm at the range.

My CCW instructor said the direct opposite of what yours said.

  5. Oh I see you're in Phoenix...where abouts? I currently live in mesa and go to Caswells quite a bit for my practice, but I'll go to Scottsdale gun club every so often.

  6. But I am about to buy a S&W MP 40 or 45

good choice. I carry the M&P 9c for my daily carry weapon. I'm looking at getting the 45c which was just debuted at the SHOT show and I've heard nothing but good things. If I were you I would hurry on the purchase of the M&P, because the $50 rebate + 2 free mags is about to end. It ends up being a pretty damn good deal considering that M&P mags are $40 each.

  7. gunbroker.com

I would also check your local pawn shops.

As far as what I like, I would suggest a S&W M&P .40 you also can't go wrong with a glock. Maybe you should try going to the local range, see if they rent weapons and try out a bunch of different weapons and see what fits you best. Is this for home only or are you looking to get a CCW?

PM me if you have one you wanna sell. Dont forget to check on whether or not you can mail it from your state and all that too. I can receive here in washington.

this would be ILLEGAL. If someone on this board was to sell you a weapon it would need to be shipped from someone with a FFL license and received by someone with a FFL license. Most gun stores will be able to assist you in the process and it usually costs between 15-45 to get it done.

  8. I probably would of shot him :/ Its interesting how different people react to different situations. I recently got my concealed weapons permit because I've been mugged 2 times since moving to arizona. And we're taught that if someone is with it 8 feet of you with a deadly weapon intending to cause you harm you can act on it.

  9. you should talk to Chief about the UFC, he goes to most of the fights. I've been to a few of them with him its really a great time.

  10. He couldn't take us sweeping the pack this year!!!

    BEAR DOWN!

On a serious note, I hate Brett Favre as a player because he made me suffer so many times over the years as I watched the packers beat the bears. But then again I do respect him for the type of player he is and what he has done in the game.
