No, that was his grenade (similar to the MIRV grenade in TFC). In beta, every class had unique grenade weapons, but late in the development cycle, they took them out. I believe there's a few commentary nodes on the issue.

Third-party maps would usually fill the gaps in map variety, and there are some truly fantastic ones that I'd love to get in the rotation. Unfortunately, they tend to cut the server population in half for no good reason (see what happened with cp_labor), so it's not really feasible to run them on a regular basis. >8\

Once there is a following, 3rd party maps will work. Until then, we are stuck in a 'catch 22.' We need stock maps to get people in, but the usual customers tire of the same maps over and over.

I have DishNetwork. It is less money then DirectTV. I have no issues. Picture looks great. I have no plans to change service providers.

As much fun as I had the other night - going invisible to sneak behind fatty while he was building a sentry & then stabbing him in the back - my hand killed me that night and in the morning the next day. For those that do not know, I broke my first finger on my right hand, and part of that bone into my hand. I also had swelling throughout my hand. It didn't stop me though, I still played for about 4 hours the next day after injury.

Well, since that night I have been missing because, to be honest, as much fun as I had beating up on Fatty (ha) it hurt so much the next day (Fatty's revenge?). Well, after some time of healing, the hand is much improved. I can use my middle finger now - for more then just gaming - and there isn't any swelling left. I doubt I can use the first finger that well, but that didn't stop me when I couldn't use it at all.

I'm good with it. The more available the word, the more people we could attract. It isn't over-done, but amendable if complaints 'in game' begin.

Can we make some maps last longer? 2 fort is good at one win, but other maps should go longer... IMHO.

Looks good. I agree to the title change. When I look for servers to play on, that is one of my methods.

BTW, I broke my finger and part of my hand. I can't use the mouse very well right now... so looks like I will be AFK or playing like hC.

haha that reminds me of the episode on South Park they just did about Guitar hero. The kids are playing the game and Stan's dad is actually playing real guitar and the kids are like "that's not cool dad" (they actually use different wording)

Contrary to popular belief, doing specific exercises do not target the fat around a specific area.

 

There is absolutely no way to target specific areas of fat. Period.

 

For best results, you must do aerobic activity, weight training and proper diet to lose fat. Your body burns the fat as a whole, not from specific areas.

Agreed. And the best way to burn fat is to build muscle. Muscle needs more energy just sitting around then... well... less muscle.

I'll also add that at some point preference comes in. I am of the belief that circuit training is better than anything on the table. Then, you have to start learning what you can eat.

One of the best books to explain the food area is "The ABS Diet." I highly recommend reading the book. Then start looking into circuit training.

For the record, I have some idea of what I am talking about.

This is the only game I play now. I would be happy to help admin it. However, there isn't much (read there isn't any) traffic in the late hours when I am on.

I usually play on the "TheVillage.org" servers. They have one server that is always full. It plays out of the box maps and keeps everything vanilla (no restrictions, default spawn times, no lame sounds to download when connecting). It seems to work well for them.

I also agree that 2Fort is an oddity of traffic flow. There can be a huge jump either way.

There are not a ton of servers out there. If we could get the traffic flow and maintain it for a few weeks, then I have no doubt the server would take off. It is just getting the ball rolling that is the problem.

As a sniper, the enemy sniper is your first priority. After he is dead you have around 20ish seconds to shoot medics and whatnot, and then he'll be back.

 

as a sniper, your biggest priority is getting over how good you are at cs:s and playing a real class thats more useful, like any other class except for sniping

That's not true. I'm a great sniper... and I don't mind saying it either. I've already been banned from a server because they thought I was hacking (the ultimate compliment). I was on 2fort and I killed everything that tried to go up top. They only way I died was if a spy made it to me.

Anyway, the point is, as a sniper I can take out all the meds and a good number of the sentries. If my team can't win with me taking out half of the problems, then the issue isn't the fact that there is a sniper on the team.
