Well, there was cheaper, but I didn't want to go with a no name brand.

Anyways, two thumbs up for the EVGA hardware. It came with s-video, composite and regular a/v cables. Software selection was junk, but thats pretty typical.

I use it with my crappy 350W Enermax 20pin.

I also don't like this guy.

Yep. Alot of people are stuck at 100ms 30-50 choke.

There's a small handfull who remain sub 50, who should be set on fire.

I have alot more respect for HPB's, how they can play online games and not throw the computer out the window daily is amazing.

This seems fair to me, it's not a perfect world, both teams get to have fun.

I try to make it a habit to switch at 5-(0-1), but usually after doing this a few times, I just fold, autojoin and keep on trucking.

Shodan and Lunk are usually on during the hours I play at night, so I get the benefit of having an admin around to call a skunk when the teams are utterly impossible to fix. I swear I've been on teams where 7/10 had negative scores.

Anyways, if all else fails, I get cheesy (some call it defensive :]). Camping corners with deagles going for headshots, running around the map taking pot shots, etc.

Decent map. Doesn't look very nice, and it's missing some doors! It's a map that involves alot of patience for the T's, they have to move around and pick off wandering CT's before running out of either of the double doors.

I like this map. There's so many ways the T's can approach the bomb sites. It's an all out blitz.

For the CT's, they have to spread out to control the choke points (subway underground entrance, staircase that leads to crosswalk above subway,etc).

The playground however is a foot race. It's alot easier for the T's to get organized and make it there. For the CT side; if someone stops or goes afk in the narrow hallway, it's over...

Good map, a little rough on the fps when the Ts blitz the saloon. Feels like someone dropped a flash bang the size of a beer keg on me.

Should be the official pistol only map! Pistolero!

I say keep it. It's a good fast paced map, once you know the layout, there's actually three routes to get to every location, keeps everyone on their toes looking around and listening hard.

Heh, I remember this picture I saw of a guy who drew a red dot in the middle of his screen, so he could walk around and shoot without scoping in.

Someones gotta have that puppy saved on the HD somewhere. :]

I've seen the script all over including the steam forums.

You can turn certain guns into the famas secondary fire basically...

I guess it's like binding Mouse1 to +shoot 3 times and a pause.

BLAH, you know what I mean.

Pop up names are good and bad.

It's good because it allows me to find strangefamous and smack him in the face with a smoke grenade because I rule.

Downside, the odd time someone close by can spot me, not because they recognized me, but because they scanned over the area I was in and my named poped up quickly. When someone has a brain fart, they deserve be stabbed in the head from behind.

As for no recoil scripts, buy scripts, skins, yadda, I consider them all advantages.

I call aimbots, wallhacks cheating...

anyone using this sound card? i played css for a few rounds on my friends computer, and i swear i can hear footsteps from opponents spawn at the beginning of the round.

I played the map on 2 servers.

Just like a prettier version of 1.6.

Nothing special.

The rest of the new update has some good and bad though.

When you kill someone, they fly 20ft away. Looks like they got hit by a nade!

When you shoot oil drums or metal cabinets, they just fly away, like a super bouncy ball. We barricaded a T behind two metal cabinets in a bomb area.

But, on a brighter note, the hitbox's are a bit better and that lag you wheel when standing beside a wall awkwardly (+crosshairs didn't zoom in) is gone.

I didn't notice the glass thing.

I don't know if they changed the scout again, but all my shots were doing 113+ damage. Or all my leg shots were really chest shots.
