Stark Raving Mad movies/tv

So I have seen this movie at Blockbuster for a few months now. It stars Sean William Scott (American Pies, Bulletproof Monk, The Rundown). I had never heard of it and figured it was a straight-to-DVD movie and would not be that good. I finally picked it up since I have the moviepass and do not have to pay for the rentals anymore.

 

I started watching it with some hesitation as to the quality. Lo and behold, I was amazed. This was a really good movie. It is a heist movie using a "Rave" as cover. The movie is well done, the acting was much better then I had expected and the plot was pretty solid for the most part.

 

There is some good humor, decent action and some very good suspense as the movie heads towards the climax. Scott does a great job, he continues to improve from his first major role in American Pie and I look forward to more good movies from him in the future. The movie also has a very attractive female in Monet Mazur, she has had a bunch of minor roles out there and really shines in this one.

 

This movie get an 87/100, a solid B+. Go rent it for a great watch!
