Guest InSaNiTy December 13, 2002 Share Guest InSaNiTy Guests December 13, 2002 What do I need to have the filename, directory name, and volume label set at to play a demo on GeekPlay?
Guest The Hurricane December 13, 2002 Share Guest The Hurricane Guests December 13, 2002 geekplayer = complicated, useless, dumb in general. -cane's opinion. just put the demo in your cstrike folder, go to console and type playdemo <name> --------------------------------------------------------------------- but to answer your question, when I used to use it i think i left filename blank. for directory name point it to your cstrike.exe (for retaiL) that should be in your counter-strike folder. for volume label i think i left that blank too... but it was a long time ago. if my memory serves me right... mrX December 13, 2002 Share mrX GC Alumni December 13, 2002 Just use this version of geekplay: Geekplay It's a lot simpler than the newer version. It basically just creates a file association for the demos. I download demos to desktop and then just double-click to play them. Very simple.
