I doesnt surprise me since the p4 and ath64 are so fast. I created a 3d animation for my sisters dvd of her wedding. I scanned her invites and then build a 3d book with 3 flaps. I mapped the images accordingly and then animated the book to drop from the top to a white floow with a soft shadow. as the book drops it turns like 3 revolutions and opens it's pages. during this time moulin rouge is playing (elton john) and then the invite is opened fully by the time it hits bottom. the camera zooms in and then the dvd menus appear. it was so fun creating it. Modeling is HARD though. I stick to primitives. anyways seeing programs like cinema 4d and maya makes me believe it can be done on a p4 or ath64. I used carrara 1.0 cause I paid like 30 bucks for it. the new version looks killer I'd like to upgrade. I'd also like to learn how to model anyone ever do any 3d stuff?
