mod?

A few of my freinds and I are looking to get a mod team together. We are starting from scatch so eveyones ideas matter. i have seen many mods fail becouse they never get a core team together, but they can have an cool idea. We need people for all postions you can think of, or if you just want to give us ideas that is cool too.

one idea that we curnetly have is a fps where you advance trough "ages" like in some real time stratagy games. here is the summary:

 

"Evolution of Warfare (EoW) is a total modification for Half-Life 2. EoW is a first person shooter that stresses teamwork and strategy. EoW differs from many other mods because of its size and scope covering 5 different eras of war. The majority of mods focus only on one major historical/future conflict while EoW focuses on several. the game starts in the revolutionary era and progresses all the way into the future. EoW allows for many different playing styles by incorporating XP into the game. Everyone can personalize their own character with upgrades and equipment. EoW will be comprised of the best features from popular games as well as brand new and original features specific to EoW."
