Guest zerodamage August 1, 2003 Share Guest zerodamage Guests August 1, 2003 My mom recently moved so I had to move some of my stuff from her cellar. While moving some old baseball cards and what not.. I find John Elway's Rookie card. Valued at $500 dollars in Mint. My card was given to me by one of my best friends father and it was not mint when he gave it to me. It has a slight crease on the corner... maybe reducing the value to 250-300. Still... wow... anyone want it?

Mr.Mustard August 1, 2003 Share Mr.Mustard Member August 1, 2003 My advice is get the card graded by a professional company and auction it on E-bay. They go for really good if you have the card proffesionally graded and it comes out as a 9 or 10. If it does have a crease in it, the collectability is almost nil unless it's an extremely rare card which it's probably not. Good luck with whatever you do with it. Otherwise you can save all your cards for your children/grandchildren which is what I've done with all my old baseball cards.
[VI]ROosTEr August 2, 2003 Share [VI]ROosTEr Member August 2, 2003 Hmmm.....I have literally a million cards in my house. I have two complete sets of '79 Topps Football cards and a ton of complete baseball sets. I used to collect cards really hard core until the market just got saturated.
