HELP!

Whenever I try to enter a password for a private server on this machine, it gives me an "invalid server password", even though I can connect with that password on my other computer. I notice, however, when the console first appears, it says "Info string length exceeded". How do I fix this?

The Mack had that problem yesterday, though I can't remember for the life of me what the Rev was telling him to do to fix it.... just so you know you're not alone.

I revamped my config.cfg, took out my admin crap from eclipse, and it works now. Thanks anyway!

yea i had the same problem and it was happy...so i uninstalled retail and downloaded mod.......

 

 

now for some reason my strats are all messed up on fox

I have a problem connecting from home sometimes to some servers without passwords.. it says crazy stuff like invalid password when there isnt even a password to be entered

put password "" in your config.cfg, or better yet, autoexec.cfg. That way, it'll clear any password cache you might have (even though HL supposedly does that for you.)

I've had that issue where I could connect to one MCC server with the password but not another...very strange. Suggestion to me was to rebuild the config.cfg so I did that...no we wait and see.
