Topic says it all. I was banned once before a long time ago for saying "scum" didn't even think of the word contained within, but I dont think this is related or similar to that. That time i was banned while playing, and I knew when I was banned. This time, I'm clueless. I've been playing the CoV trial for a week, first time I've tried to get on CSS for a week or so. Had no problems at all the last time I played. Seems like I'm banned off more than just the scopeless server too (virtually the only one I play). "STEAM UserID STEAM_0:0:4587432 is banned." To my knowledge no one else has been playing my comp, though I am in college dorms, so I wouldn't rule it out. Dunno what else to say...

Thats b/c I didn't see any actually, but sometimes my comp gets wierd issues with other peoples sprays, and just shows a purple/black checkerboard. I wasn't trying to get you kicked out of your clan or anything, but I couldn't tell if you were "upholding GC ideals" or being sarcastic, and when you faked the GC tags, I thought the second option more likely. I did say in my post though that you were civil. I wouldn't really have bothered to check things out until you put on the GC tags, and when I did, they told me to post on the forums. I just think that if I were the leader of an organization whose members pay to get into, and I saw someone faking membership, even if they were trying to uphold the org's ideals, I would be angry. And I've heard plenty of times of people getting into serious trouble for faking tags, and claiming ownership/administration of clans/servers. Again, I wasn't trying to get you kicked out of your clan, or banned from anywhere. Maybe I was just annoyed because I spent all day working on top of the garage, with roofing tar (which I could still smell everywhere I went) and I had played another server a bit before where two hackers (with {G TAC} tags if you're interested/ ever see them) were trolling around. I didn't think it'd go this far, I just thought that if you were trying to troll against GC, mocking their ideals or giving them a bad rep, or whatever, that they ought to be on the lookout. EDIT: And if you think there is a problem requiring an admin, and there are none on the current server, there are other GC servers you can play on, or go to in order to find an admin. I've seen GC admins hop servers a couple of times to deal with trouble on other servers. And you can always tell the trouble politely to stop whatever it is that they are doing, without claiming to be an admin. Chances are, there are others in the server who will back you up if you ask the trouble to stop spamming, cussing, spraying porn, etc.

Monday afternoon on the scopeless server while there were about 10 of us on, some one by the name of [WoA]Tm*-=GC=- was pretending to be an admin. He came in all announcing he was an admin, and didn't want to hear any swearing or seeing any bad sprays, etc. I thought it odd that an admin would do that without some actual infraction, and thought it odder that I didn't recognize his name, as I play on the GC servers quite a bit. He didn't even have the GC tag until I pointed out his lack of tags, to which he replied "I'm new." He wasn't being a bad troll, picking fights or anything, but at least a few of us were very annoyed. I didn't see him on the roster on the site at all, and I checked in on the stock server, which had quite a few gc's on, and they said they'd never heard of him, and told me to log his steam ID and post it here, so I am. "[WoA]Tm* -=GC=-" STEAM_0:0:6317210 12:39 194 0 active When I reconnected to the scopeless server for another 20 min or so, he still had the GC tags, but he wasn't shouting over the radio (in a very pre-teen sounding voice) or typing in the chat that he was an admin anymore. Maybe I am easily annoyed from workin (and smelling) roofing tar all morning, but even though he calmed down a bit, I thought I'd still post this. Do with it what you will I guess.

Everytime I try to join, it says my Steam ID is banned. This count as banned?

On March 3rd, around 7:30-8:00 EST, I was apparently banned, but for what I am not sure. It happened so fast... The only thing that I can think of was b/c I used the word "scum" in a joke, but it doesn't seem like that would be it, maybe some other odd typo. I didn't recieve any other warnings that I know of for language, and I wasn't doing anything else against the rules (pron sprays, cussing on the mic, etc). I sent the message, and saw it on the screen, for a sec before a I was kicked, and didn't notice the language filter getting angry. Nvr been banned, before, this is kinda awkward... Been playing almost exclusively on GC servers since I got CSS, I've always followed the rules and had a great time on your servers, I hope I will again...
