the steel series siberia v2: much more comfortable than my old plantronics.... sound... it's good, and the surround feature works well... (so that's where those steps came from); but the sound is just 'good' in my opinion. Not bad for the price point.
Did you get the USB or 3.5 version?

All I know is that if JJ Abrams screws up this movie, he shall forever be known as Jar Jar Abrams.
My favorite theory about the new movie might make you feel better.
"JJ Abrams is going to use this as 2 hours of nerd redemption. The opening scene will be Jar Jar binks being decapitated."
And if we have to watch parodies of the trailer for the next year, I might be alright with that.

Guilty pleasure.
So So Glos. DIY punk from Brooklyn. Saw them out here in Portland. The sound is better in their official videos, but the energy doesn't come through.
These guys throw a heck of a get together.

I stopped paying attention to these kind of things and have no idea what's good or what I should be looking for. Can you help?
- Primary use for gaming, but also video calls at work (so I can expense it).
- Only running laptops these days and I'd love it to be portable (ie no external amp).
- Would love to stay at or under $150, but willing to spend a little more for the luxury of talking with Shaftiel.

You might be interested in this article. They never really took off when they were active -- took someone finding the master recordings in an old attic.
There's also a documentary floating around named "A band called Death" that's worth watching. It was on Netflix earlier, but don't see it there now. It is free on Amazon Prime, though.
