    As much as I would love to, with articling and whatnot going on around such a time, there's far too much uncertainty, and so I'll have to just count myself out at this stage. Hopefully next year will fare a bit better for me.

    Rats! Oh well, looks like I won't be torn away from Civ4 after all.

    The giant player is in the same situation Norg described trying to fire into the map. In short, one has to fire pretty randomly in the direction of the map (which is above the Skybox in Italy), to hit enemies which one has no freaking chance of seeing. So, as they say of communism, it works in theory, but not in practice.

    I vaguely considered going to FF this year, but A) I had to work like a madman I'm still pretty new to GC and CS generally, and C) I haven't had a valid licence for some time. However, should there be plans in the works, and my fiancee doesn't want to come visit me for that weekend, then it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Someone will have to remind me to clean up my case though. It's pretty damn dusty. Edit, had to disable emoticons

    We could always split the difference and go for 9. Not that it matters to me, but it's a suggestion.
