Any idea what's the deal with bbcode and images now, or if it can be changed? When you use the bbcode editor, it doesn't show you the code, instead it just shows you the result, and I can't get a context menu on images anywhere (I guess to stop people from copying/saving images?).

Are you guys all using Vista/7 or XP? I've been thinking off and on about getting a SSD but not really sure if XP will handle it right.

I tried it for a short while but couldn't figure its sync options. With Xmarks, whenever I sync my bookmarks, I can choose to merge, keep only those on my computer (discard those on the server) and vice versa. Can I do that with FF Sync?

No, you configure the options once for each computer.

I'm not recommending Firefox Sync here, just tossing out an FYI to people who may not realize they could get locked out of their bookmarks.

Some may already know this but it was news to me today after reinstalling Windows. Firefox Sync now uses some random private key, instead of a phrase you type in when you set it up. When you set it up on a new computer, you need to get this key from one of your other computers (attached to Firefox Sync). So if you're using this more as a backup than a sync, be aware that you need to store this key somewhere.

That's pretty vague. Is L4D2 giving you this message, or Windows? I've never heard of this particular message, but generally I read it as saying there is not enough virtual memory available. You might be able to take care of it using the -heapsize option to the game. If this is an OS thing, you might need to increase the size of your pagefile.

Unbanned. If a review of the demo shows evidence of cheating you'll be banned again. To my knowledge, it's only been seen by myself and shift right now and there's no reason to keep someone banned for indecision.

In the future, it is easier to unban you if you post your Steam ID, as otherwise only someone with FTP access can find out who to unban.

I've noticed that most of the (OCZ) SSDs I was looking at a few months ago have dropped by a full egg, mainly due to a high failure rate. Probably not unique to OCZ, better have a good backup plan in place.
