  1. Well I do not know for sure what to do. Mornings and afternoons I get 0 loss 0 choke. Evenings the GC#1 is pretty much unplayable by me because of 30+ loss and huge choke spikes. Left a few minutes ago with huge loss... ran a traceroute and everything seems ok... for all I know. Here is the image.

     

     

    My rates are set to rate 25000 cl_cmdrate 70 cl_updaterate 70... have always worked well for me. Most of the day (until primetime) this works great for me. If anyone has any advice PLEASE let me know.

  2. I made the change this afternoon and it worked fine... solved everything... got back on tonight and steam must have overwritten it because it was back... went in and changed it back now steam says CS is unavailable... hope i didnt oops something...

     

     

    Phew... i think things are working again...

  3. I wonder how many people play 5 just for the zombie mod without fully grasping the full GC experience. I think that playing on 1,2, or 3 when redirected allows players to renew their enjoyment of CS that they may not have had before. I think the zombie mod will get old eventually and having people used to the regular servers will keep em around when it does. I say keep 5 on the rotation.

  4. For the past week or so I have been having problems with loss on GC1... for a few hours I will get 20-30 loss. I do not think it is my rates, as I have played with them quite a bit.

     

    Every time I get this loss there are a few other people on the server that are also getting abnormal loss but it hasn't been the whole server.

     

    Before you ask no I have not done a trace route because I don't know how... or even if that is what I should do. If anyone can help me figure out what can be done I would appreciate it.

  5. I think if weapons are restricted too much you overbalance it way to far. When the zombies win a few rds in a row and the CT have no money it becomes a slaughter. Perhaps just the machinegun.

     

    I don't like the fact that the Z are supposed to plant the bomb or they lose, yet the human Z can not plant the bomb. CT can just get a good camping spot and wait it out. I don't really have a solution to this other than not playing bomb maps or taking the bomb objective out.
