ok im super miffed right now. nothing is working on my audio, except for the windows shutdown and startup screens. wth.

i have a realtek card.

my sound isn't working right, it's all tinny and like it's not streaming or something but its from the hard drive.

audio codecs or something?

it came with my gigabyte mobo

i bought that exact same card (8800gtx) a month and a half ago, couldn't be happier

its up to the admin to toss a gg map up now

more to the subject tho, what's up with haters on GG?

im not getting any ddr3 hardware for a while.

i guess maybe ive been not keeping up enough on changing maps. still tho, there's always such opposition to GG even when the reserve slots are being taken up. there's def high traffic for GG, lots of regulars too. whatever tho, there's always a ton of ppl who have a prob with it. if there's not much support for it ill take it down and we can just play gg whenever we feel like it if the server is dying or something.

for the record tho, i never really understood why there was so much whining about it. most of the ppl who whine end up playing it anyways.

ok i lost a few other posts due to the shakedown of the forums but here's a quick update:

compy is up and running, i'm at work so i don't have pics of it to post

i'm running xp64bit pro right now

my 3d max 06 score was 9k, i haven't tweaked anything and that was with programs running

there's a few things i want to plan for:

i want to get a little more speed out of my system (oc the cpu and gpu maybe)

i'm using the stock fan from intel on the cpu and i'm thinking of getting a better heatsink

right now i run at about 45 degC with CSS running, highest it's gotten is 52 i wanna say. haven't had any hangups yet.

anyone running any thermoelectrics?

i also wanna tweak the 64 bit windows to try to get a lil more out of my apps. anyone have any guides?
