Unless you have Photoshop and iTunes highly customized, I would just uninstall/reinstall onto another partition. As for resizing and moving existing partitions, I have no experience with that.

As mentioned before, buy a PC from Dell or some other supplier and get a low end video card that supports DVI.
Not building it yourself is a good idea. I wouldn't have thought of it.

I don't think it matters much, but as a general rule I get my system completely up to date with drivers before I do anything optional.
I might switch 2 and 3, but it looks good to me.

Well I can tell you exactly what mine would be:
2 Double Cheeseburgers from Swensons (with lettuce and tomato)
Jalapeno Poppers (with a side of ranch)
A beer battered, deep fried cheddar bratwurst covered in cheese and bacon bits.
Strickland's ice cream.
And a Guinness Extra Stout, if they allowed it.

POD is always good pump up music, I particularly like this one:

It's also clean, no worrying about swearing.
Edit: whoops, someone beat me to it!
lol

Yeah automatix is really nice, I used it a month ago while playing around with Ubuntu, maybe I'll find a compatible version.

I really prefer the K desktop and the Adept Manager to install applications, works very well for me since I am a total linux noob at the moment.

Nice tips, I just installed Gutsy tribe 5 Kubuntu on two of my systems, and unfortunately I haven't found an automatix version that works with it. Despite that, everything works great anyway.

Not sure if you're still looking, but I just bought a Samsung 21.6" monitor, here's the link.

Its getting outstanding reviews, and for good reason. Great color depth and contrast ratio. Great price too!

Woot, 10 / 10
They are all obvious in their own ways.

Or you can do the easy one step process. Uninstall it, then install it in the new directory you want. Then let it all download overnight.
Ok, thats two steps, my bad.

Nice!

Yeah Captain Obvious doesn't seem too bright.

geez...it only took Apple 136 years to make a phone...
I'm buying a 24" LCD instead
Same.

IT ENDS NOW! YAY!
Now I have to crack it to make it work like a zen M. The one I told him to get
I have 2 things to say to that link:
1. LOL
2. If you have to try that hard to get basic functionality out of your portable media device, what's the point? The mp3 players that I have do what everyone wants them to do, and have for years. It seems like companies are taking a step backward rather than forward.

My asus board has been great, I wouldn't ignore one of the greatest mobo manufacturers just because you got a bad board.

It sounds like you've got it narrowed down, but have you just tried to wait it out? I installed vista last night on a brand new PC, and after the initial loading screen, it appeared to be frozen. After several attempts I decided to wait it out, and 5 minutes later it started installing normally.
Just a thought.

Mainly the MX510 is optical and G5 is Laser. My G5 crapped out on me though, first right click, then left click. Its also got the worst scroll wheel too.
Although, the G5 will work amazingly on any surface, and you won't ever get optical spin with it.

They can't just go into your house and search your PC for suspicious looking counter strike maps. You can't punish someone at school for what they do on their own time.

Suspension/F in Class is a good punishment.
Criminal charges is just silly

Interesting, but I think those numbers are a bit inflated due to the powerful processor they used. I think the performance will be about the same as my 8800gtx superclocked.
If they really do keep it at $450.00, it will be a great value.

Anti-Virus
in Tech Reviews, Support and PC Builds
I got rid of AVG when I found out that it thinks FEAR is a virus, and deletes the program. I switched to avast! and it's much better. It comes with all kinds of protection enabled, but I just scaled it down to pure anti-virus.
Avast seems to auto-update correctly, while AVG has problems on my systems (always have to manual update).
