As much as I would love for the Bengals to go to the Superbowl, my wife has said no matter the price, if they ever went she was going to that game. I'm afraid she will deplete our savings lol.

15 minute ban. This is like a "my friend punched me in the arm once, so now we aren't friends, ever again" situation. Hope you stick around.

Hmm interesting. I know gl' just bought a new card and may be selling his GTX 560 for cheap. Lemme see what he wants for it first.
-
Yeah, if we go with another location out of state, we may need to find other hardware to use.
-
Newegg has a GTX 660 for $159.99 after rebates or a GTX 650 Ti BOOST for $149.99 after rebates. Both good possibilities. Seem like much better cards than mine for the affordable range.

Yeah I know. But a new build would cost me upwards of $1000 and I'm already spending a ton on a new heat pump system in my house right now. I might not get to build a completely new rig for a few years still.
Also, tigerdirect has a GTX660 Ti right now for $149.99. That sounds like a pretty good deal, right?

So I'm looking to get a new video card that hopefully is at least twice as good as the one I'm currently using, but I'm on kind of a tight budget. I'll give details of my build.
I built this comp like 6? years ago. Intel Q9550 quad core, 8gb of DDR2 1066 MHz RAM, and an EVGA GTX260 896mb.
I'm really thinking this rig can still runs games for a while if I just upgrade the video card and possibly get a SSD in the near future as well.
Basically I know cyber Monday is upon us, and if anyone sees any great deals at around the $100 range for a card that's what I'm looking for, or if anyone upgrades and has one to sell fairly cheap ( so long as the card isn't like beat up or really old) then I'm interested. I'll be looking around tomorrow, but if you guys find any sweet deals would you mind posting them here? Thanks for any and all help!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm stuck at work all evening, only upside is I get a free turkey meal while I'm here.

I always want to go, but of course I would have to clear it with my wife first.

While Rosewill looks like its own company, and from what I can read and see, they have wanted to branch out more on their own, they more or less are a company owned by Newegg.
-
Not bothering to add it all up, what is the price? I need to desperately upgrade also, but a new video card may be all i do in the near future.

gl' lives in NY, not sure exactly where though.

To answer your question, in games like Dota2, seeing more of the map than other players does give a person an advantage. If you could get 10 monitors to see the whole map, what's the point of having a minimap or having to scroll to see a different area? You would know exactly what's going on all over at once. Just because you wish to see more than other players doesn't make it right. In some games it doesn't matter, but in fixed map games like Dota, it does.
